I unsubscribed because I hate Lucía selling the idea that anyone working hard (in freaking Mexico) could save money and buy luxury items (or even good quality replicas) at the soft age of 20 something years old.
It's just not possible, not a reality. She's still in college, is not like she's a business owner or had some ground breaking idea that made her a Millionaire.

Several times she mentioned that she "saves money" to buy handbags while not spending on other stuff like "going to the hair stylist". It leads me to believe that she has no idea / no sense of reality of how working and paying for your own stuff actually looks like, but she may understand that saying so it's not relatable so ... she lies!

Don't stay subscribed or following people that damages your mental health.

I lived in Barcelona about 10 years ago for work. I’m an international tax atty. This is not a low-paying profession and I wasn’t living in an apartment like that.

Hmm you're completely right. I just compared the stitching to my Birkin in etoupe which also has contrast stitching. Her stitching is way more spaced apart which is usually a sign of a counterfeit since lower stitch count = less work/labor. The stitching on her bag looks very sloppy in comparison (uneven stitches, inconsistent angles).

Also the stamp seems a bit off.

Yeah I was very surprised she admitted she wants to totally rip off Tiffany for cheaper... I would've just said, there are many other smaller jewelers you can go to for the same quality as Tiffany, or something along those lines lol.

If she’s pressed for $8k, she just admitted that her Hermes bags are fake. If you don’t have $8k for a ring, how can you afford bags that start at $11k? Make it make sense. I always thought it was sus that she got a coveted Birkin from a boutique.

I'm surprised she would zoom in and show it off that much in pictures and videos if it was fake. I think if it was fake, she'd be more like Lydia Millen who only shows her Kelly from far away and only talks about it when it's off camera lol. But of course, I'm not a Birkin/Kelly expert!

Def fake, Hermes don’t sell bags with such bad stamps. All her Chanel and other bags are fake too!

Reupping here. I like Lou though this thread has me rethinking. In any event, she just posted a video about wedding plans. They decided on France because first and second choice Italy and Spain were too expensive ($60,000). I don’t know about you all but if I can buy multiple H bags a year, spending $60k on a wedding isn’t a second thought. I get if it’s not important to you, but I just found it a bit odd. Also why not get married at the family house. Lovely little yard where they could set up a gorgeous tent. Plus venue is free.

Just watched her vlog about apartment hunting and this girl gets "stressed" over every little thing. Like she's never faced adversity in her entire life. It's really annoying listening to her complain about these small things that stress her out.

Like, "OMG I'm sooo stressed that I have to choose from these two amazing luxury apartments that I have to go to Hermes and buy something to calm myself down."

I used to like her stuff, but when she started to fall into the Hermès trap, my interest in her faded.

Well, I was (and am, sometimes) jealous of her and influencers within my age range (she's 26 and I'm 24) that can own multiple bags, shoes and jewelry that I cannot afford, since I live paycheck to paycheck.

Apologies for going off topic ... but does anyone watch Bonjour Aika. She isa luxury Youtuber from Tajikistan (half Tajik, half Ukrainian) living in Geneva. Insanely wealthy. Married to a Tajik. Mega mega bucks.
She was on holiday recently - I think in Spain, in a very touristy area - bought her daughter 2 stuffed toys from a toy shop, went back to her hotel, googled the price of the toys and was soooo ANGRY one of the toy she bought was 15 or 20 euros over the normal price (at home).
Okay, for us normal plebs, I would be annoyed, don't get me wrong. but this girl is mega wealthy and spends insane amounts of money on luxury goods on a weekly basis.
For her birthday a few weeks ago, her hubby gifted her a no limit shopping trip at Chanel.

Oh the complaining about the 15 euros she overspent .... she went on and on and on about it, all whilst wearing an outfit worth over 60 000 euros (clothing, shoes, handbag, sunglasses, luxury watch, 6 or 7 designer bracelets on each wrist, earrings, rings & necklace).
So, the next day Aika marched back to the toy shop to argue with the sales assistant, demanded her money back - they only do exchanges, and then threatened to phone the police on the assistant.

I'm sorry but if you're that insanely wealthy the principle of overspending by 15 euros is not worth the effort of getting chaffeur-driven back to the shopping centre, fuming all night and the next day about it, then spending another 10 or 20 euros on petrol driving there and back, spoiling a day out of your holiday by fighting with someone for 15 euros and then crying in the car back to the hotel because you had to threaten the police on someone. All whilst vlogging this. You're in a very touristy area during high holiday season, higher prices are, most of the time, the norm.
Am I overthinking this ? I wish there was a Tattle thread for Bonjour Aika.

I do think, tbh that this apartment belongs to her family's portfolio of real estate. They seem to have that, and that apartment is vacant for anyone (Lou and her cousins) can use it. I dont think she even knows the value of money at this point.

She's definitely a trust-fund-of-Dad type of kid. Sad reality

Somewhat random but I checked her latest video and some things she said left me with a few question marks. Like... She said she's now getting used to wearing heals. Ok, but she also buys really high heels for ages? What is she doing with them? Standing on her carpet? Seems like it when she claims that she found a nice pair she's wearing a lot. Proceeds to show the shoe and the sole looks clearly not worn outside at all. So something doesn't match up. I'm really tired of influencer fakeness.
