It’s public, she uses her full name, and has a selfie as the pfp. That lead me down a rabbit hole of Facebook tags and random sailing profiles. Long story short, she shares a surname with a certain Mexican tequila brand family. My money is on her being related to them through her dad. Correct on the tequila brand name! Since it doesn’t seem like I’d be breaking any rules by saying this, “Lucia Beckmann” is her name. As for the GFM, in my opinion, it doesn’t necessarily mean she’s strapped for cash. I think this is just an example of wealthy people not wanting to spend their own money. I had a few very wealthy high school classmates who had yacht club memberships but still did crowdfunding for regatta fees.

Let's put it this way: wearing a designer item in certain areas makes you a target immediately. Usually, even if you own designer items, you don't wear them very often as you're putting your life at risk. This is not an overreaction, even if you live in the "wealthy areas" of your country.
Yes, there are certain scenarios where it's quite normal to wear your stuff, nonetheless, you will not spot your colleagues flexing a different bag every other day or so.

Let's imagine that she actually got a good position as her family "comes from money", she may be making 10.000 € (again - ANUALLY) and she will be automatically positioned as part of the top 1% of Mexico's population immediately.
Now, there's people part of that 1% - who are they?
- Dirty money: all types of shady business practices that you could imagine
- Politicians
- CEOs and their wifes / daughters
- A small niche of professionals that are the top tier of their industries.
- Artists / Celebrities
-"Old money" - which usually goes alongside "dirty money".
- Bitcoin / crypto guys (funny but real, I know some of them)
The style of designer items that they may choose is not the "latest trendy Chanel bag" neither a Birkin, it goes more along the lines of a LV Alma bag and monograms, which actually Lou has so... her "boring" selection somehow makes a lot of sense to me, as this is the style that you usually find there.
Now, there are a few really bold moves in terms of the stuff she has been buying and wearing.
If you are not worried about your safety wearing a Birkin (even a good replica) in Mexico, you probably have security in your building and in most places you frequently visit, which is a reality that only a small minority of the Latin american / Central american population can live. Nonetheless, even having top tier security, flexing is not the smartest thing you can do.
About her Hermès journey.
She mentioned that as the demand in Mexico is not as high as in other parts of the world such as Europe / USA, their waiting list is actually "easier". What she fails to mention, is that the stock that the flagship store sends to their smaller branches it's also not as "trendy" neither as massive as what they send to more popular stores.
The Hermès situation in Latin America / Central America it's quite complicated at the moment. Mexico City has 3 stores, but 2 of them are in the same area which leads me to believe that is just some type of weird tax strategy going on there, I wouldn't expect massive differences in terms of the stock that those 2 stores have.
I know that sadly, there's a Latin American Hermès store that does not even have Hermès packaging such as orange bags for all their customers. This is the type of stock level and challenges that a luxury brand trying to make business on third world countries / developing countries may face.
So... this whole "I just been offered the most coveted bags almost immediately with almost no purchase history", smells fishy.
The only plausible explanation could be that as she has a well known surname, the SA actually knows that her family as a whole has a high purchase history, hence making sense for them to continue offering them their wishlist items. I would assume that they don't know that she's trying to be "independent" or even having her Youtube chanel.
For other types of items, I would have believed her story 100%.
Those smaller stores are perfects for homeware and weird findings such as ready to wear or even non-trendy but special leather goods. Those of you that may have had the chance of visiting those stores may know what I'm describing.
All I'm saying here, is that this girl story and "reviews" are fishy, her story does not make ANY sense for a latina.

What annoys me the most about her is that there is no shame in coming from money but the fact that she lies about it pretending she is just a hard-working girl infuriates me. Lmao you guys have me going down a whole rabbit hole doing research. Okay, so the mom (well who we think may be the mom) posted an anniversary message last month for 26 years with her husband. We know that Lou’s parents aren’t together, and that she’ll be 26 later on this year. My very crazy and random guess is that the mom left the dad when she was pregnant with Lou, and maybe some sort of crazy custody battle happened? So Lou ended up living with the dad? Regardless, it seems perhaps the mom has the connects with the Jose Cuervo family because Lebron James was at her daughter’s kindergarten graduation/graduation party in 2013. I’ve attached screenshots for this new information.

Her father bankrolled her initial collection - which I thought was INSANE for a teenager but alas, the lives of the rich - and then Lu started selling those off to get the $ for Hermes. This is also when her YT starting making $, so she had that as well. Imagine getting video sponsors or partnerships paying $$$ in USD while living in Mexico. Her output is LOW while that #spon content $ is HIGH.

I agree! I think Polo deserves better, he constantly roasts Lou for her bad taste in everything- which is rare for a guy whose girlfriend loves luxury.
I feel bad for her because she clearly fills the void with luxury stuff, but has sour relations with her parents. Her mom is basically absent, while her dad is her cash cow. I found her channel because I thought she was French, but I was so surprised she spoke in a Latin accent. It's a beautiful accent, but she's misleading her followers.

I'm just surprised these content creators maintain their followers once the audience realizes the silver spoon. When Lu started in how they'll be staying at a family home in Spain and using a family car there, I got a headache from how hard my eyes rolled to the back of my head. More and more it seems that her father was like "Lu, I am not going to buy you lux handbags forever. You better sort out your life', and that's the ONLY reason she got to work. She went on and on for MONTHS how no one buys her anything, she's cut her ENTIRE family off and it was all a lie. What is attractive about sometime shilling products who is constantly lying. The birth of the influencer came from your everyday person getting on social media and sharing their finds. People loved it, felt like they were getting tips from a friend or neighbor. Now, all of these people make a ton of $ from sponsored posts, they get everything they "buy" for free and more often than not the people getting into it over the last 3-4 years have families who could bankroll their lives until the sponsor $ came in. Spending generates views, views = followers. I just don't get it. For me, it's a total turnoff once someone gets to 50K followers on YT, even less on IG! Their heads get so big and so does their lying.
PS - 100% believe Polo's family either own the home they were living in OR were paying the rent. It was so weird that his family, who clearly have $, always needed to stay in that house with them. I mean, just HOW big was that house?! They're two college students. Same thing w "taking" Polo's younger sister on trips and her buying YSL bags, etc. When I have children, they will not be getting an allowance from me that gets them designer brand handbags.
