I wish her travel vlogs weren’t so curated towards White European travelers. We never see any people of color in them. It took 3 South Africa vlogs to finally see someone who was African. 
Today, so many things about her made sense. She was a white-passing Mexican living in Mexico, which I’m sure afforded her a lot of privilege and access. Not to mention she is financially privileged and supported by her family’s money.
I have more respect for the influencers that came from humble beginnings and created generational wealth for themselves and start companies so they create job opportunities for others.

Does that make her racist? Like these POC don't fit into her aesthetic so she doesn't feature them? I only watched her first 2 vlogs and was also surprised to see only white european representation
Ooooof, I don’t want to label anyone as a “racist” without seeing repeated behaviors or words that support that moniker. I feel that she surrounds herself with White/white-passibg Europeans and Mexicans, which means her world isn’t very diverse. That is a choice and she could choose to surround herself with more diverse people. I see other influencers that have friends of so many backgrounds and it’s really lovely to see them learning and embracing other cultures. 🩷 Karen and Lisa Napoly and Tamara Kalinic are some that come to mind.

I will never understand the people who sell the majority of their other brand bags (Chanel) for multiple Hermes bags. Once you have one Birkin, one Kelly, maybe a Constance or a Picotin, why do you need 3 more of the same? It seems so boring. I’d be happy with one Kelly 28, but I don’t want the same style in a bunch of sizes and colors.
Agree! If I had a chance to get Hermes bags, I’d probably get a Birkin 30 in Gold Togo and GHW, Kelly 28 in Black Epsom, GHW and a Constance 24 in Craie/any white color in GHW too. Then I’d get a picotin and an evelyn in a fun color.

I do not think she is conscious about the whole ethnic thing, is just how things are in upper-high Mexican class people. We are all mixed if you look at our ancestry but when most of your family tree is European, you end-up being this breed of Latino - Mexican - etc that "looks European" and that actually holds an European passport. I do not like the phrasing white passing because is not a term we use in Spanish, like, never. It does not exist as a translation or with a similar cultural term.

She is light-skinned, yes. But her facial features are not "Caucasian," if that makes sense? That's why she looks so odd. Is her hair color natural, or is she dyeing it a very light color to achieve that "look?"
She holds a Spanish passport so she is in paper, Spanish.
