This is it, we don’t know if she’s had the baby yet and if she has, we have no way to know how it went. However it’s gone I’m sure the last thing on her mind is updating the internet. Especially if it’s been difficult or c-section or whatever.

It’s one thing to send a text to family and close friends - which Nick can do. Why she’s being expected keep followers in the loop is beyond me and wanting to know names to invade her family’s privacy?? 🥴

It doesn’t matter if social media is her job or whatever. Be real. It doesn’t need to be her priority to make a post if she’s just had a baby or whatever the situation is. Regardless of how much followers want her to make a post she isn’t obligated to and everyone can have their opinion about that.

And if her silence is calculated, it’s hardly the first time.
most sensible comment on here. People commenting here saying she doesn’t owe her followers anything BUT she should update them, or she doesn’t owe them anything BUT she should have announced before hand she would take a break. No - she doesn’t owe her followers anything full stop. Her followers are not family or friends. It’s work. She can stay quiet for months if she likes and that’s no one’s business. The level of entitlement is unreal.

I don't know why anyone here is surprised, it's the way influencers work. Either something bad has happened (and I sincerely hope not) or she's just playing the influencer game. I do feel for her followers though because you can see in the comments that they're clearly worried.

In their eyes, she's taken them along for the whole journey (the big announcement, the baby shopping vlogs, clothing hauls, bump photo updates, packing the hospital bag) so they're obviously worried that around the time she would be due to give birth, it's radio silence. For someone who was adamant they would be vlogging their birth, it would be odd for them to expect her to want privacy.

It's just the influencer culture, sadly. Her audience are largely made up of young vulnerable people who likely see her as a friend, so she'll monetise that when it suits her and leave them in the dark at the right time to up her engagement.

Like someone said, it would take 2 seconds for her to post a story saying "all is well, we're just taking some time as a family" but doing that would stop people commenting on her posts every day.
Totally agree. A lot of her followers are more than likely younger people, to whom a lot of these influencers call their followers 'friends'. They will have followed her journey religously and are now truly worried about her and if everything is ok. It's not that they think they are 'entitled' to know it's probably seen as what 'friends' do after having a baby. These influencers are quick in things when it suits them, but unfortunately, as in this situation, it suits to keep everyone in the dark. I truly hope all is ok, a lot are worried about the baby, but at this point you become worried about Jazzy herself. I feel sure any day now she will pop up as though nothing is amiss, lets just hope so.

I looked out of interest and people in the comments of her videos say they are checking and refreshing the page every hour, “literally begging” for an update. The parasocial relationships that develop for some followings is utterly bizarre to me. I just can’t relate to that mindset at all.

Ultimately, at the drop of a hat any creator could simply delete all trace of their channels / content and never post anything again without warning or reasoning and the followers would have no choice but to accept it and move the duck on.

Getting so attached is weird as hell.

She’s just posted a new tiktok where she thinks she’s about to go into labour and doing her makeup ready for it

She's popped up! I was right lol. Wonder if it's real time though or from a few days ago. Anyway, nice to see her face.

I looked on her Instagram at when she announced her pregnancy. It was 30th October but, didn't say how far on she was. If she was 12 weeks, she would now be 36 weeks gone but, with her losing the first little one at quite an advanced stage, I'm inclined to think she waited until 18 weeks....she would now be 42 weeks. My niece wasn't induced until her 42nd week (and ended up with a c-section) so, Jaz might only have just had the baby in theory
She uses TikTok more than IG. She posted on 19 Feb that she was 34 weeks which means your calculations are correct.

When I lost my first baby, I had no choice but to be induced with my second. I was surprised Jasmine wasn't induced too, I mean, that's great for her, I imagine that's always preferable, but do not all hospitals require induced labour before 40 weeks?

I’m sure they offer and push but you can decline

I’d have thought that video was probably recorded a few weeks (or more) ago now !

She will do a post Sunday announcing baby’s birth I bet. A cute Easter pic or something

If she was "in labour" a couple of days ago according to her timeline, then she probably will announce it on Easter Sunday. She doesn't seem the type to just post it on a random Tuesday, it'll be curated.

I predict a cute photo with bunny ears 🐰😅

While I agree she deserves privacy etc. I don’t understand why she couldn’t of just popped up a simple story or post along the lines of ‘baby is here, we’re just enjoying our bubble, will be back soon’ type of thing. I think what she’s done is crappy given her history. Shes done the whole ‘baby could come anytime now’ now month later ‘grwm to have a baby’ then silence again and I just really don’t agree with it. Don’t play games, either stay silent or just a simple update will do.
