I always think Youtubers go onto just the vlogging because it's easier. In a lazy sense
Her main channel was predominantly her buying weird stuff online and trying it out though. I just don't understand why she loaded her vlog channel with pregnancy content and then didn't capitalize on the very obvious "I bought weird pregnancy stuff from Amazon/Tiktok/ Instagram" she could have been doing this whole time, instead of leaving her main channel dead for a year. Her main channel doesn't really fit the clogging style she's been going for. The trying stuff out videos usually have a few vlog clips in them and are a bit more casual.
It was old footage, it was on her TikTok a month ago. Maybe she's got scheduled content to have a maternity leave of sorts.Didn’t she upload something yesterday?
She’s probably just in a baby bubble
She does this a lot though, goes quiet for long periods. I know she's probably had the baby by now, and life will be a lot different for her, but she knows her followers will be waiting for an update. The quiet is concerning at this point
I doubt she's thinking about that if she's just had a baby tbh. She did say in one of her vlogs she was planning on having time off and scheduling a few videos. It's understandable being in a baby bubble and wanting some time out but she knows people will be concerned giving her history, and I know that we're not entitled to know anything but it would take 3 seconds just to put up an insta story saying she's okay, or even to reply to a comment
Going quiet when people know a baby is due is a great way to drum up engagement and views whilst people keep checking back in the hopes of updates. People underestimate influencers!!It's understandable being in a baby bubble and wanting some time out but she knows people will be concerned giving her history, and I know that we're not entitled to know anything but it would take 3 seconds just to put up an insta story saying she's okay, or even to reply to a comment
I’m not sure that any of that makes anyone else entitled to have that info. Other peoples’ (strangers’) nosiness or concern is not free rein to have access to that information just because someone is an influencer. It’s like saying that the person I work with who is on mat leave and was due to have her baby a month ago, should have updated us all. Lots of people are wondering whether she and baby are okay but no updates yet. And that’s her choice. It’s like because she’s shared her whole journey with us at work, we’re entitled to that info? No, we’re not.I think the thing a lot of people forget is that yes, new mums absolutely deserve time in the newborn bubble and nobody owes you an announcement etc until they’re ready, but when you’re an influencer, that changes the game. If you’re willing to share details around your pregnancy, including a rough due date, it makes sense that you would share when baby is safe and well. Even if it’s just an Instagram story saying baby and mum doing well, enjoying the bubble, will update when ready. As much as she’s done her best to try and ignore her previous loss online (again, which she’s totally within her rights too if that’s how she wants to deal with it), but she must know that her viewers are concerned when they go radio silent.
Especially when you're so excited to share your pregnancy journey with your followers, it just seems to me that she'd announce at the earliest opportunity to soak up all the positive vibes. Maybe the birth didn't go as planned (didn't she want a water birth?) & she needs time to process it all. Or she decided she wants to be in her baby bubble just her and her family. Hope she's doing well and that's the reason for the silence.I think the thing a lot of people forget is that yes, new mums absolutely deserve time in the newborn bubble and nobody owes you an announcement etc until they’re ready, but when you’re an influencer, that changes the game.
