Jasmine is not Josh’s type and we all know that not only because of her physical aesthetics but also mentally and they are not into the same things.
Emotionally and financially she might be a good fit for him now but let’s see how long is that gonna go on for.

You hit the nail there! 100% and I can totally relate to those guys.
I also tried to set some healthy boundaries with those guys and they have not understood and even got offended and I didn’t get that.

I let you in something personal about myself.
When I was a teenager there was a guy I liked and he liked me but unfortunately his mother didn’t want him to have any girlfriends this was some time ago and I did harass them for attention it was a long time ago and I cannot share more details but I can tell you that we are fine now and that was the only time I did that and would never do that again only because I was a teenager and I had another boyfriend after that but I only did that to be a pest.

I don't think Jasmine would put up with Josh nearly as much if she hadn't lost her virginity to him. They might have even been broken up by now tbh because they're just so incompatible.

With her catholic background, she was probably brought up to believe in purity and she probably loves the idea of being with one man for life. You can also see how uncomfortable she is with how Josh has had previous partners and continues to talk about his "playboy stripping days". Her relationship at first glance sounds like the perfect manifestation how he was her first kiss, first everything, leading to marriage within 1 year and she definitely uses this as a selling point. Maybe this is personal but I could definitely relate. I had a upbringing that prized purity and as result, I thought I'd marry my first partner and it would be a love at first sight amazing love story. We all remember when Jasmine was into languages K-dramas and all that and she was adorable back then but the truth is that languages take time to learn if one wants to reach real high level fluency and I don’t think Jasmine realised that that’s why she dropped that interest and university getting to a B1 in a language which is lower intermediate is an achievement even finishing the A2 materials is already hard work.
