Everyone is currently budgeting and watching money planning for a very rough time that’s coming and making sure they can afford all the cost increases yet they are acting like they haven’t a worry in the world. Won’t be so funny for them when they can’t afford bills so end up living in the van that’s not even finished.

I thought naively she would make a decent wage, get a unit, move out of the flat and they'd live in a camper for a few years to save up for a deposit/mortgage.
