Frozen paprika?
Poaching tinned pears? They are already cooked. If you poached them any more they would turn to mush. Reduce the poaching liquid she says, what liquid would that be? She doesn't specify what liquid to use, tinned pears come in either syrup or juice, or should that be thrown away, pears rinsed and use another unspecified liquid to cook them in?

Argh. I feel like I am going mad. Didn't they already say they were in the freezer, though, granted, I am confused about the paprika in the freezer.

Yep, yep, lentil and bean casseroles are DEFINITELY what I serve the fussy eaters in my life. They are so fond of things where they can't isolate the constituent parts.

Both kinda powdery substances, so yeh, who can tell the difference. Num num.Sub the onions in an onion soup with leeks to make something that isn't an onion soup
