As an aside, I know those curtains are hideously expensive, therefore have to be in the selfie. However, if she'd open them to let the sunlight it, she'd have a lovely warm living room by now!

The closed curtain look makes me think of my gran's old folks home (which was, to be fair, pretty FANCY but still remarkably depressing).Who's that teenager?

It will be all that eating anchovies in bed nonsense. It’s bound to leave some fishy residue under the nails.Still completely baffled by the state of her nails, she obviously doesn’t do any gardening, how do they get so dirty?! Probably outing myself as a filthy frau here: I never use a nail brush as they make me cringe, I just wash my hands regularly and dirt doesn’t end up embedded under the nails. I’ve seen dogs with cleaner claws for gods sake. Does she scamper around the flowerbeds on all fours? Is she actually a werewolf?
What!!! Aubergine and bread stew? Stewed bread? Nope don’t get it. vinegar, tomatoes balsamic vinegar? We’re all these on the £20 shop. Seriously will people eat this?
I am really worried about Jack's hair, it is so thin and wispy it must be coming out in clumps. It must be so worrying for her to have borderline alopecia.
Who puts aubergine in a chilli?? and that’s the least of my worries about this recipe....
Also the inclusion of coconut milk is an odd choice for a caponata.I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the tweaked to hell and back stew wasn't a caponata to start with as chilli is not in the usual ingredients. Also cooking a few ingredients well not really in Jack's ballpark
