I like to imagine that every new mention of Marcus Rashford by her followers sends her into a fresh episode of howling, roaring, clawing and pawing. The sideboards'll all be in splinters by midnight.

I think Krishnan was one of the first to highlight what Rashford has been trying to do this week (to show how much people actually care about this and to say it's not going to be forgotten or cast to one side because of the vote) and yes he probably was a bit sloppy in his phrasing but it's clear he was trying to help with Rashford's campaign, not detract from it. Jack, on the other hand, gave everyone a free rein to say 'yeah why SHOULD we be doing this, that's not OUR job' which is infinitely more damaging to both the ideological message and to the actual practical benefits that have come from it.

There would actually be a lot of mileage in her doing this. Remember when that girl who used to be in Eastenders was photographed working as security in a discount store? Jack could do one week at Asda and then give interviews about her work on the front line of food-getting and how tough and humiliating it was being recognised, but she’ll stoically carry on.

Jack, you can have this as free PR advice but I am a professional and I do also have a day rate for this kind of thing *rattles newly-set up Patreon*

Yes; Krish mate sort of said ‘here’s where to send your money’ forgetting to also say (we shouldn’t have to but let’s do it) and Jack said ‘we shouldn’t have to!!’ Forgetting to also say but here is how we get kids fed NOW. Both only half an idea but hers the most useless half to go for; I see that now - thank you

It also just highlights how superficial Jack's ~politics~ are. I don't know if she's ever claimed to be a socialist (much less an anarcho socialist lol) but we really shouldn't (IMO obvs) be waiting for the state / government to do anything for the common good, because we'll be waiting a long time, and acting for the benefit of the community shouldn't ever be seen as a top-down matter.

Monroe, hard at 'work' again - getting others to find information she wants to later claim as her own. And note how MR hasn't been tagged in on something that could reasonably be described as his baby, she's not aiding him she's competing with him.

For Jack, politics are there to give her something to scream at not as a means of bringing about positive change. She doesn't want things to get better. If the government were to announce that they were moving to the Finnish system of free school meals for all and reforming the benefit system with the aim of eradicating food poverty she'd be gutted.
