She lived in Leigh and now Thorpe Bay. It’s possible their charity shops have high end items as they are more affluent areas. I’ve never managed to find any thing as good as she does but that may be because she’s swooped in and bought everything!

Why would you take a scarf from a park. If this pandemic had taught us anything is that people carry all manner of things. I know she could has washed it but still it's weird.

Finding a treasure in a chairty shop and bringing home is totally different to tea leafing it from a park. Most people set them up in the hope the owner returns for it.

Can we just go back to it being too cold to go out for parsley? Even wearing a scarf found in the bag they gave you in the shop mud, earmuffs and a hat?!! Is the shitty bungalow now in the Arctic?!
I am in Edinburgh ( Jack! Wish you were here! ) and I went out today with a hoodie on, not even a jacket, and I was fine.

Deferring to others. Jack is genuinely more likely to sell her emin/hammock/sentient mirror/sideboards/3 fridges etc etc and donate the proceeds to the homeless/genuine poor people whose suffering she makes a living from than defer to others who actually do the things she dreams/lies about doing.

If I found a lost scarf (half buried in the mud) I may brush off the dried on mud and put a notice on FB sites etc but am not sure I'm altruistic enough to get it specialist dry cleaned before doing so....
I'm just amazed our favourite poverty activist didn't give it to one of the homeless people she meets at one of the soup kitchens she so regularly volunteers at #notveryaltruistic

For me it would be a complete write off for being covered in mud. Nope. Perhaps hang it on a railing, but take it home? Nope.

Haha, yes-could’ve sold it on eBay & given the money to a food bank surely? Her stories are less believable than the shit kids invent when they’re 8. Even the jackolytes must be clenching inwardly but too scared/polite to comment. It’s just so embarrassing.

No, it’s actually not Stuart.

Special Constable Mack Jonroe didn’t just put ‘notices’ (more time travelling, the 1930s on this occasion) in local Facebook groups. She didn’t just put many notices. She put many many notices. Tweets. Signs up near where it was found. And Etc.

Fuck it fraus, I’m going to claim it!

I was in Sarfend in November last year (to see Tim Minchin at the Cliffs). I’m *sure* I just happened to lose my Burberry scarf...
I wouldn’t have seen any notices or FB posts on local pages as I don’t live there
Go on, dare me

Aaaagh-please, please let someone claim it!! She’ll have to squirm out of that one, imagine the twisting?

Can I just say how funny it would be if someone replied to her saying that they were in Southend at the time and happened to lose their scarf, and thank her for finding their £370 scarf and get details of how to return it to its rightful owner.

The tweet would be gone quicker than you could say salmon paste.
