Enjoying reading this thread. I was a fan of Jack's - fellow Essex girl who had been brought up in poverty, just like me! Or so I thought until I heard she'd worked for the fire service. Mentioned her name to my friends who also worked for it and they told me her dad was very high up and laughed about her claims of being poor.

Her dad is very well regarded by them as he did a lot for charity alongside his job but he would have been on a very good wage with a fantastic pension.

I do wonder what her mum and dad think of all this. I hope her son has strong role models in his life.

She's saying she's a 9 on that scale (well, she's said between 8 and 9 because <Tom Cruise is so hypnotising as Maverick> but included 9). Which says she's a risk to herself or others. I truly don't understand why people who know her in real life are not stepping in at this point. I don't care how much bullshit someone has spouted in the past, I take things like that seriously. She needs intervention, her behaviour is worrying and she is clearly struggling. I hope that she is able to get some help very soon, as vile as she is it is unpleasant to see someone fall apart in such a public way.

The question is though, is she actually falling apart or is she, like most people (on here at least) suspect that she is exaggerating everything in order to garner sympathy/patreon donations.

It’s funny that she had her Twitter break and came back and the first thing she did was sell her Patreon and tell us she’s burnt out? She has a brain, and could surely google burnout or anything else, she doesn’t need to be on Twitter - all of this is for show and faux sympathy.

My best friend just got made redundant too. She's having to move back in with her Mum. Really not what she wanted to do but has no choice. I've offered to help her out but she won't accept it. I understand why. We are both from working class families and have this 'no I must do it myself' mentality.

That's why I've always believed Jack's story is just that, a story. The ease with which she accepts money from poorer people she doesn't know when that is a thousand times worse than accepting help from your own family....
