We used to rent from an elderly Italian bloke who left all his homemade soap (not soup) when we moved in. It was rock hard and wouldn't lather at all.
We left it there when we moved out and it's probably still there now, sitting all sad and cracked in a trough in the back yard.
I made some last week. It didn’t lather very well either!

Philanthropist is code for large tax breaks in return for begging the public for their pittance.

If jack wasn't a lying grifting b you'd feel sorry for her over the way her family have roundly ignored her publicly for a decade. That cringe 'if you come for 1 of us you come for all of us' outburst very consistent with pissed up hyperbole could not be more contrary to how her family operate. They haven't spared 2 vowels in defence of her loose cannon embarrassing public profile.

How odd, i check what’s going on with guest occasionally and nothing showing for Latest on twitter today. The usual stuff is listed under Top.View attachment 2553272
I was getting that too when I checked this morning. If you type in 'bootstrapcook' there is still some recent content.
There was a really unpleasant to and fro between detractors and a guest sock/stan whose account was deleted.
If it was guest she's well and truly lost it with some terrible slurs being thrown at her critics. Nasty stuff.

Job ad for them is interesting: https://www.simplyhired.co.uk/job/Z8t1Brjh5QPEYlEZuBpoGP218t4FhIjAhFUPjIYv_fIhSlcq9De7MA paying minimum wage and the grammar is appalling. Maybe Jack's writing them? Must "of" used griddle fryers but presumably they're too niche for the pov?
I'm not sure of Jack's relation to this cafe (bit behind), but if she endorses it in any way, that's a really awful job ad, for someone who claims to be an advocate for fairer conditions for those in poverty. It's effectively a zero hours contract if you read between the lines, with hours that don't work for those with children, and on minimum wage. Even students couldn't take it.

Very on brand grammar misuse, you're right @ahkrin

Can't help chuckling at how much Jack would not qualify for this job:

"Cook required for a busy kitchen, must have experience and be able to work at a fast pace [can't live stream from the garden shed? nope]

MUST of worked in a kitchen before using griddle fryers etc.....
[no mention of air fryers? nope}

Must work well in a team
[nope]

You will be required to prep food, clean prepare food, wash up
[nope]

Must have hygiene certificate
[double nope]

MUST be able to work weekends and weekdays
[too much work, nope]

hours vary but typically 8.30pm-3.30pm everyday"
[too early, nope]

very good point. Wonder if they're unionised? Most Marxist-Royalist people join a union.

By way of application she could submit that video of her jarringly alternating from shaking a pan to suddenly cutting something. That was a fast pace, of sorts.

They might pay £9.50 to under 23 year olds? Even so it's a poor show, especially if you're trying to help people transition back to work, why not make it seem attractive with a decent wage, if the hours are going to be tit (which they are, in hospitality). You'd hope that you wouldn't get many long term unemployed people under 23. But requiring a hygiene cert and experience with particular equipment doesn't tally with getting people back into work either. Both can be trained quite easily.
---
I presume the hygiene cert would preclude Jack though, as I'm fairly sure it includes how to wash your hands though it's 20 years since I did one.

If Jack is in any way associated with the project at least we know she can't toot her trumpet over it cos it'd be it's death knell. Big Dave knows it too hence no PR along the lines of 'we know via our activst chef daughter how important it is to feed ppl cheaply'. Having someone with this supposed area of expertise in the family but making no mention of it has got to signify tacit acknowledgement of the clusterfuck that is her reputation and the liability she is to them. She's basically Fredo in Godfather 2.

Excuse you. guest does all her own washing up on set, whether anyone wants her to or not

Oh lord. I was googling to see if I could find a screenshot of her saying this, & Google gave me a 2 hour YouTube video of guest talking to James O'Brien. I presume the canal has covered this so am off to go look. Most of the comments love her but there are one or two dissenting voices

I don't know, Naanie... have you seen the state of Jack's kitchen? By "washing up", she probs meant "rinsing". Which is one competency we know she does have.

Chriiiiiiist that looks a fash nana paradise.

The café has a 4.8* on Google reviews so I presume Jack has no involvement in the day to day running of the kitchen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Big Dave has her on the payroll in some capacity. Saviour of the Poors consulting on a space filled with union jacks and poppy shaggers.
What's a poppy shagger?

It’s how 2010 Lesbian Jack got knocked up, according to 2023 Greenbelt Jack.

I’ve not really kept up to date with this thread but I walk to Gunners Park every so often and didn’t even realise this cafe was there! I’d offer to go in for research purposes but what if Guest happens to be cooking that day?!

Fire the handily provided Queen-saluting big gun at some metal in a microwave and one by one the other Southend fraus will come to your aid, followed by those further afield.

A bit like this, in Lord of the Rings Parlance
