Kimberley Wilson's version on BBC GoodFood seems to have come first - the earliest comments are from 9 years ago, whilst Nadiya's is from a 2020 TV series. And we know that Jack has form for borrowing from BBCGF...
The interesting thing for me is that Brie and mincemeat isn’t a thing for good reason: mincemeat is too sweet. Brie works well with the sharpness of cranberries 🤷‍♀️ I can only imagine that guest’s tastebuds are shot to hell if she thought that was a good combination.

ETA I think Kimberley Wilson is a queen.

I’m a very very prolific cook book collector 🍉 and it’s extremely common for authors to credit their sources and inspirations. Guest just simply doesn’t and it says a lot about her.
Remember when Guest said ‘we all borrow off each other’ re stealing other chef’s recipes?
Nope, not true at all. Nobody borrows or otherwise any of her disgusting nonsense (which is already stolen and a few swaps made just to remove any flavour and texture). And there are plenty of chefs who come up with entirely unique and creative things. Jack has never, ever come up with anything even passably adequate, it’s all utter tit.

It was one of her creepy comic kitchen videos that she's now pulled from YouTube. Cheesy fishfinger lasagne with squash, leeks and spinach 😑. I don't think we have the video saved anywhere sadly.
What a waste of perfectly edible in other recipes ingredients. A fish finger sandwich is a lovely thing all by itself. All you need is fish fingers, bread, butter and ketchup. Why ruin all those items just to get something yuk squared.

Cheesy and leek pasta. Another perfectly nice thing.

Spinach goes lovely in a tomato based sauce for pasta.

All ways to use these ingredients with a hope someone might eat them.

I got some reduced chicken thighs in our supermarket tonight. 69p. They would do 3 people a meal if I wasn't eating 3 of the 6 thighs myself. Everyone else had breast as we needed go get some used up. For my bit, I've used half a jar of pasta sauce that needed using up from the fridge and some grilled cheese. Super cheap. Just with some chips. Like why do I need to put it in a lasagne and put a squash in too?

I was just going through my photos to delete stuff and this Georgia gif has suddenly made me think of guest’s delicious homemade tea shandies of “any” tea and disgusting flat pop/cream soda baking in the warm Spring sunshine. That Old Harold was a lucky, lucky man

I got a yellow stickered lasagne in Morrisons last night reduced from £4.75 to 48p.

I then tipped it out into a dish to I could give it a good fingering before rinsing it off hanging it off the tap with a muslin attached to a carabinar and mixed it up with bran flakes, green saxo and discarded fish finger breadcrumbs making a meal that SB declared as the most tastiest dish in the whole wide world put it in the oven, cooked it and ate it.

Yeah so equally you could say that Nadiya “borrowed” from Kimberley, right? Which possibly explains why when Jack borrows, she’s rarely called out…to use Nadiya as the example, she’s hardly going to want to publicly say “Oi Jack, that’s my idea?” if there’s a fair chance Kimberly will pop up “Well ackshullyyyyyy” which is all part of how Jack has got away with this so long.

ETA: not excusing Jack just pondering on how she got so far. I presume she was clever enough to know how far she could push the borrowing for quite some time and it’s only in recent years, like with the grift and the lies that she’s escalated and it’s now so obvious she doesn’t have the layer of protection she originally did.

Who’s that in the gif? Or, whomst dat?

Why, ‘tis Katie Scarlett O’Hara Hamilton Kennedy SPOILER ALERT (Butler to be, but not yet cuz is Mr Kennedy’s funeral and she’s on the cologne after being on the brandy, cos Rhett’s come a-calling), dat whomst.

ETA I totally ducked an opportunity there. I should have told you it was Harold’s Mam, cos Jack had turned up with the tea shandy to go with the demon chocolatey fingerprint Easter cake.

It’s one thing to borrow recipes and offer nothing in return; it’s something quite different to try and do the same with cash.

She’s really ducked a golden opportunity up with her greed, I bet she could have been the darling forever if she’d carried on borrowing recipes carefully, like this things where the base dough will always be the same and she could add different fillings etc or even just alter amounts to better fit the amount you get in a can. She probably could have had her house with an orangery and everything and if someone had called her out for stealing a recipe of theirs, odds on she could have found something older similar and said eg “well I changed the chilli from yours, Nadiya but you added the chilli to Kimberley’s recipe so??” She’d have been safe as houses.

But instead she got greedy for more cash and to be more special and she ducked it all up for herself.

She's had another big cull on Instagram.

Well, at least she listens to some advice. I told her on Aug 9th to get rid of the liquid tit.
Now: top 12 still the same as after the last cull. Mr Potato head and the sideboard collection live on! Lots of deleted slops tho
IMG_2586.jpeg

Lots of deleted stuff after that, mainly slops tho. This is what comes next now

This is what’s LEFT since 9th Aug. This is as far as I got with taking the pics of her grid last time so I can’t see what’s gone after this. SLOPS AWAY!

She’s left all these below in tho. Jack, as you listened to my advice about these 👆poo bowls, if you’re trying to pretend you can cook, you should probably delete this 👇🏻pan of excrement with green furry mould forming on top, this loaf tin of liquid tit with a hard crust formed on top, with nuts set in it and these Dr Pimplepopper cysts that you’re trying to pass off as eggs. Oh and that Del Monte one too, cos you look like a right bleeping berk.
IMG_2588.jpeg

ETA I think I’d get rid of these too, whatever they’re meant to be.

The pics of her grid with the X’s look like the worlds most awful game of bingo… like OH is being made to cross off if he’s been forced to eat a dish, get a bingo and he’ll sneak out at 2am while she’s Dino snoring for a maccies.

Yes! I'd love to know what was going through the minds of people who were posting at the time.... I'm imagine it as a virtual shuffling of the feet, and an awkward wait for someone else to make the first move.
I've said this before... But... I can remember what I was wearing... What I had for lunch... When thread 31 was unfolding...

Curious how she's deleting pictures of the hideous slops but not the misjudged awful selfies. I mean, if you're allegedly known for cooking, wouldn't you keep those pictures above all?
