Totally agree, raising awareness is one thing, but giving us all a bad name is another.
I really appreciate it when other people with ADHD bring their views on how Jack talks about ADHD. I feel like it’s too personal to me, like I can’t distance myself enough to say if she’s lying about it. So I’m really glad when others can!

Jack's bio for Greenbelt reads like it was lifted straight from Kruger Cowne, which I imagine it was. Oxfam ambassadorship is mentioned in connection with events in 2013 and 2014, and the cringe-making 19th most important lesbian in 2014 is trotted out again. Numerous awards are listed, which I shan't date, but descriptions of what she has been involved in seem to stop at 2014 and reappear in 2023 with reference to her latest book.
Can no-one promoting her find anything to say about what Jack has been doing between 2014 and 2023? She has won numerous awards in that time, even if it might be difficult to find something to say about what they were awarded for.

There is a photo of her on the Trussell page from that year. This year they are collaborating with the other person from 2019, but not her. I googled guest and greenbelt and a Facebook post popped up in the search results about guest and how much they love her, from 2020. But when you click through it seems to be gone. Have they cleansed all mentions of guest from their socials? Can anyone confirm?

Totally agree! It’s really hard to articulate clearly, but although I do believe she may have it, I feel instinctively that there is also a weird layer of falseness to how she presents it and frames it and that makes it feel very confusing.
It’s not like someone saying ‘I ducked up because of X’, it’s more like there’s an inherent dishonesty/lack of humility that uses it as an excuse to further itself, which is what people are reacting to?

Yes, I have been grunking/lurking in real time as much as I could from first finding Tattle late last year, so saw this when it appeared a few weeks/months back. I was both horrified and disgusted at this blatant flaunt of wealth, when just a year ago she was "too poor for shampoo, hot water and light bulbs". Someone COULD say "well she CAN afford it NOW" but to afford a £7k watch cos funz & savingz you must be absolutely RAKING it in on the regular. Not just one-off. Not just one year. REGULARLY. YEARLY. I have been a genuine pov (won't bore you all with the story now) and even during some of my 'better' years since, I didn't even earn in wages/collect in welfare anything close to £7k within those 12 months.
If she was HONEST about her income/lifestyle (no need to disclose anything, just stop the povplay) I geniunely wouldn't give a tit about what she was sinking her money into. (Maybe slightly irritated that she wasn't giving her Patrons owt for their hard-earned, but that's on them too, if they're still subbed after receiving nowt for months.) It's just the performative stuff, the povplay, that gets on my (large and often in the way) bits when her income is CLEARLY nowhere near as low as even a working class income, let alone a pov one.

I became aware of guest around the time of Hopkins. Initially I thought, "excellent, Hopkins is terrible, this is great news!" and left it there really. Then, her posts started appearing more and more in my timeline, and I thought, "oh, I think that's the person that beat Hopkins in court. Okay, cool!". And then...I don't know really. I felt like the "smugification" just got too much (although admittedly at this point I assumed there was far more good than bad going on).
I got disproportionately annoyed when she told the story of how she said thank you to siri on a train platform and a man collapsed in a fit of laughter, children with tears in their eyes brought her bouquets of flowers, and the train passengers gave her a standing ovation. And then not long after, I read awfullymolly and thought, "...oh...".
I have no time for scammers and grifters whatsoever and I think during covid it really became apparent just how many there were. However, few seem to have this level of public profile, which makes me feel really uneasy about the whole situation.
