The happy days of chair and teeth counting
Unlike jack I have a full time job so may miss things but she posted this same photo and alluded to it being today saying Content hat hit the 50lb mark. I was expressing my frustrating that some well meaning person replied and she immediately replied saying she didn’t have it anymore. I’ve been annoyed with jacks appropriation of rheumatoid arthritis all week and this just tipped me over the edge to post. I’ve enjoyed everyone’s posts here and wanted to join in. My OH runs a stressful business whilst having RA he’s never taken 40 trammies or tweeted for someone to get him a shoulder brace. He just quietly takes his methotrexate once a week and feels like tit for a few days after. I wanted to share my frustration and my reason why JM annoys me. Peace and love

Yup. JT has slipped up once or twice, but she is (usually) very careful to leave room for plausible deniability. For example, she has never used a protected title like clinical psychologist when talking about herself, but has gone with far vaguer language, such as "I worked in a prison for a year, which was medical [in approach]" and "I spent years working frontline with women and girls", paired with reference to "sessions" she conducted with trauma survivors. It's enough to make the reader assume that these were therapy sessions and she is clinically trained, but she never actually uses the legally protected title, so if anyone calls her on it she can claim she was misunderstood (or double down with more vagueness). JM is too impulsive for this. A lot of the time I get the sense that she just blurts out the first defensive thing that comes into her head and then tries to frantically backpedal later on. She's nowhere nearly as calculated.
Crap, my mam reads that I will be refusing any and all dinner requests for the next while until the danger has passed…..

The dog looks so miserable
I mean no harm to young Content, largely because I'm frozen with fear but big zoomy off leash dogs scare the tit out of me. I am not surprised Jack is a horrible, irresponsible dog owner and will bet £50 with anyone that she goes up the road and has a big power wank every time her dog scares someone half to death. Dog walkers who form big canine terror packs can duck off as well.
It lives with Jack. Allegedly. Wouldn’t you?
She’ll be one of those dog owners who giggles inanely while simpering ‘oh she’s harmless, a big old softie’ as Content pounces on people and knocks small children to the ground.
Confused as to why AM is announcing her departure when she could just have … never tweeted again. All the evidence is there to be linked to and a few £ in ad revenue would drop in her PayPal now and again. Don’t geddit.
Anyway (and apologies for bringing the above up) Jack’s sold or given away the blue Cotswold? Downsizing or just raising cash for snowstorms?
Saddened to hear she’s so poor with arthritis she has to sleep on the sofa rather than going up the stairs where the bathroom is anyway yet can simultaneously pack up boxes, go for 2hr+ dog walks and consider wild camping. She could have set up a bed in a downstairs room even. Oh, sorry guys, forgot, she doesn’t have a diagnosis or treatment plan for RA as she doesn’t effing have it she actually has lieabetes and the only known cure is to STFU.
I reckon she went to the doctor with owie joints without mentioning her raging drug addiction and the doctor said it could be anything, even RA, and Jack skipped out the doctors fully believing she was disabled and never went back to the GP. It’s the munchausen in her.

Dogs are a product of their owner and the training they receive.
My sister had her first child aged 17. Once she escaped the abusive house we all grew up in, she got married and they bought a tiny house when she got a part time job at the job centre. She helped tens of thousands of people to claim benefits and access training there. After she had been promoted a few times, she began training staff specifically in ways to help people. She then went on to help build a network of (not private sector) training networks to increase levels of literacy and numeracy - the reason why people can get free qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, as well as GCSEs as adults is due to her hard work campaigning out of the public eye with others who felt the same, that people needed more than just money, they needed actual skills and qualifications to be able to have better lives.
Her house was lovely and very slowly went from bare essentials to beautiful items all carefully chosen and saved for. In her spare time, she'd raise money for assorted charities. Interestingly, she had no time at all for the people who earned money from wailing on TV as they weren't doing the actual work but were picking up thousands of poundsto stick up their noses spend on pretty much the tit that politicians would claim the benefits claimants were going to spend their money on. A suggestion of raising funds for TT was met with a 'rather not, it won't get to the people who need it and it's in their interests that nothing changes, as that's how they make a living'. For somebody who didn't have a bad bone in her body, she had nothing good to say for yet another permanently sniffing media type.
She started her latest fundraising recently. It's what she does, tries to actually help people. She died this morning of cancer, having not said a word to anybody outside her closest family, as she didn't want people to feel guilted into giving money they couldn't afford. It's her birthday next week, just under a fortnight after mine.
She achieved more over her lifetime than JM has done with half a million people paying her attention. She hadn't made a living of hundreds of thousands of pounds out of centring things around how she was pregnant, vulnerable and escaped neglect and abuse as a genuinely tiny and malnourished teenage girl. She got a job, she did it well, she improved her qualifications and she worked bloody hard to make it possible to not just improve the world for a few people, but for thousands. Without ever begging for money and attention, never being a bleep to others, never wanging on about how she'd managed to get from a shithole to a lovely house, just being herself.
I'm sad, obviously. It hurts that she's not around making the world that little bit nicer tonight. But her impact on other people's lives was huge.
My most recent memory of her was when somebody gave her a JM book. She was her usual lovely self, very appreciative and grateful for the kind gift. When I went into the kitchen after her friend had left, I found that my lovely, sweet, caring sister who genuinely had done so much for others and would never say a harsh word to anybody had taken that book, still half wrapped - and planted it squarely in the kitchen bin.

Unfortunately, yes, Jack has this affect on many of us. My dad had RA from his 20s onwards so I do understand your frustrations.

It's usually the small disinterested looking ones that are more likely to sink their teeth into your arm. The massive ones might give you concussion as they run through and over you but normally they are the most placid.
I worked in kennels for a while. Always the small ones.
Had some huge, massive, hard looking dogs in. Soft as tit. The tiny cat sized ones? Oh dear lord some of them were savages.
