I think it’s a tricky one. I helped with the household ironing, cleaning, cooking and washing from when I got my first job (14) but had done my own room from earlier. It meant that when I went to uni I knew how to live on my own (cooking has been neglected for a number of reasons in recent years). But I can completely understand your POV.When I was 8 I didn’t do chores. In fact I never did. As I got older I just started doing things and always kept my room tidy, got rid of rubbish.
I don’t make teenage DD do anything. I expect her to pick up after herself and put rubbish in the bin. I think adulthood is long, years to do all this shit.
I stand with @Shawads and @MancBee@MancBee if this is true I will be your forever friend. I sometimes feel so alone in this hellscape of catloverrrs . I hope this isn't just a cruel in joke and really MB is the greatest catfan of them all
A Christmas without slop is no Christmas at allThis is all very sad for a Sunday morning.
Canal needs some slop.
Porridge? Burned bacon? Figs? Cream?
We can’t have December without slop.
I was catching up hoping someone had remembered and found the bingo one! Wasn't this the one that had things like "make mama's bed"?If it's any consolation to those of you who are upset by the chore jar, it didn't last long and was soon upgraded to chore bingo.

Yes, this is something that Jack liked enough to repeat.
He's found the VBI and is not amusedAny one have any ideas on the last sighting of Cooper? I went back thru Instagram and found that his gotcha date was the end of august 2018. Handsome boi
This is absolutely mental for a child of 8 years oldI was looking thru her instagram and came across where she had a tasks chart for SB to work to earn tablet time, He was born in 2010 and would have been 8 at the time of this chart in April 2018. I'm all for getting kids to do chores and know 8-year-olds need instructions, by cop yerself on Jack.
I've listed as many of the tasks as possible, this sounds like a lot for an 8 year old, this is not considering that SB has to deal with her emotional meltdowns on top of this,
- Make sure shelves are tidy

- Hats scarves gloves in correct pockets
- Wipe toilet top and bottom it's you that wees on it
- Put new toilet paper out if needed
- Clean up your poo marks
- Hang up any coats in the hallway
- Pick one shelf or surface sort and throw out wipe down and organise

This is so upsetting , we've all seen Jack's cleaning and she's no clean freak ( I know she says she deep cleans the kitchen 12 times a day, but , well she LIES). I'd like to think it was lies butGod that list of chores is absolutely foul. ‘Wipe toilet seat top and bottom. It’s you that wees on it!’ Humiliating and shaming him. And giving him a massive long list that makes Anne of Green Gables look lazy.
And all on her public open instagram account. I don’t follow her and I can see the post.
Why does she do this? Why does she parent so badly and so publicly?

One of my cats once came back smelling of someone else’s perfumeI have 2 cats (despite my username), i found a half a boiled sweet under the chin of my boycat last night. I don't eat boiled sweets so I know he has been cheating on me.
I imagine she probably had a nice juicy deposit but won’t be given a mortgage so maybe she’s rage bought a small place she can afford outright and doesn’t care that SB won’t have a room of his own. Because there’s no way that will be “his” bedroom. Or there will just be secret roomsMmmm maybe no mortgage neededscammed enough to buy outright
