Definitely, it was a friend or some casual arrangement. Cats Protection for example would never home a cat like this until the vet treatment had been completed (and if it was a long term disability, they’d only hone to a foster with specialised experience and the means to see to the cat’s long term veterinary needs).

If Jack thought tattle hated her already, she’s really not gonna like how much we hate her now

She’s a disgusting excuse for a human being. If one of my cats had that diagnosis I would be distraught, not preening, prancing and joking on social media.

Jack Monroe #44 Tin Can Cunt

I am genuinely shocked at how rich her previous partner must be (the restaurant chain owner). Surely that is beyond middle class?
Also another thought: I don’t actually doubt that Jack paid for a single tin of beans with individual pennies. (I mentioned it a few pages back). I just think she did it for attention and to play into her need to larp as a Dickensian urchin.

Final JM thought for the night: I get the impression that her seeming lack of devastation at her kitten’s prognosis might be down to child-like, woo woo optimism. If you believe, and have determination, you can get through anything etc etc.

I simply don’t think she believes the vets and probably thinks Supervet will have a miracle solution. Which is possible but not likely.

Don't know how to do spoilers but warning , kitten talk....

It was always irresponsible to bring that poor kitten into the household. Three vets (it's always three with JM) have recommended euthanasia, they don't state that lightly. That poor kitten is unlikely to have any quality of life, she is not it's saviour, she is actively and cruelly prolonging pain. Also SB is likely to be heartbroken. See you next Tuesday!

Oh God, now Liz Jones has commented.

Also, LJ is a purported vegan but what's happening to this poor creature completely goes against with vegan ethics - veganism is literally defined as 'a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.' I'm absolutely disgusted by what JM's doing and I think it's blatant animal exploitation.

Did the same earlier, it sounds awful but makes you realise we are really surrounded by some fucking dumb people in this country doesn’t it? Like people fawning over a seriously unwell cat, willing to ignore the HUGE moral issues around prolonging his suffering because Jack is a good guy yaaay - no - this isn’t a fucking adversity triumph movie this is a very clear cut case.

Her exes friends must be so relieved the relationships didn’t last. I can now understand how she ended up so broke when her son was little, she must have ignored all practical advice and done exactly what she wanted, no regard for anyone but herself.

Gif of someone banging their head against a brick wall.

I’ve finally caught up.
i fucking ate her. Can’t be anymore eloquent than that. The arrogance. The lack of care. The gleeful revelling in this whole thing. She is evil. She’s dangerous.

She’s on a tweeting spree and it’s early. Hope she doesn’t do this all day, i’m busy today. (She’s of course right about the press being awful with Naya Rivera’s little boy but I do hate her ‘I’m much cleverer than you are’ tone)

(About a pic of Cooper the 50% cat)
Mr Ambassador, with this ‘floof’ and ‘hooman’ you are spoiling us.

Again, correct but in an irritating way.

Please go back to bed, Jack. I’m exhausted already. Why on earth is she wading into an incredibly sad event happening in California? Is it because the Daily Mail are (awfully) reporting it and you want some attention again and this is easier than reading 20+ books?

Ps guys I think because i’m the only one adding these at the mo that’s it making the longest post in human history. Apologies.

If you hadnt pissed your money away on Vivienne Westwood, Cotswold Co, Smeg, Dyson and got knows what else (and we've only seen very select bits of the flat) then youd probs be wellll on your way to being a homeowner. As you said before, there are lots of things that can be done to boost a credit rating if managed sensibly. Taking on a cat without researching that it would run into thousands (you said it came as a shock!) Is not a good start. Unless you're waiting to inherit the empire of course x

You don’t think current property is part of this empire, do you? Her landlord seems awfully indulgent to her painting/knocking rooms about/pets
