The soup. The bleeping soup. Did she accidentally strain it?! Because that is not chicken soup. That’s a shredded roast dinner with chicken gravy. As a Jewish Frau, I am deeply offended by that creation. This is my aneurysm.

I’m guessing she took the first Jewish chicken soup recipe google finds https://www.goodto.com/recipes/chicken-soup-with-matzo-dumplings and couldn’t be arsed to buy Matzo meal (which is ground up Matzah crackers) - she could have just used flour. The sage must dominate and change it - it’s basically something most Jews rarely and only cook to humour sick relatives it’s fairly bland chicken soup. I think she’s trying to say she knows some Jewish people.
Us Jews are looking forward to her next book “Kosher(ish)” where she slaps in a bit of black pudding and cooking bacon. Oy Vey.

If Jack wants to make chicken soup and put stuffing balls in it, why can’t she just simply do that? Why does she have to appropriate another cultures food and change it? It’s not her place to do so. There are elements in world cuisine that once changed, invalidate the original recipe and intentions behind the recipe. She’s a dick. Just make normal chicken soup and add your fecking stuffing balls, but don’t go round claiming it’s somehow Jewish?

No it doesn’t. It makes excellent stuffing balls which is what you have there. For crying out loud you can make fluffy dumplings with flour, butter and water.
