This isn’t even meant to be shady but it’s quite common for people who don’t work tbh. There’s a breadth of life experiences in the rooms but if for whatever reason (retirement, being in a residential facility, unemployment, unable to work due to health, etc) you have all day free attending multiple meetings or travelling to specific meetings is a good use of your time as it gives you structure to your day and keeps you accountable. It’s less heard of outside of your first year, but I’ve also never heard of anyone having sex for burgers so hey, maybe she needs it!
Jack’s average week:
14 sessions of meditation
10 AA meetings, including getting there early to set things up
Childcare
Dog care
Cat care
Minimum six hours of sex
Out for burger
Nightmeat trip
tweeting sometimes 200 times a day
Cooking and testing each recipe three times

Yep. There are a couple that run 24/7 that you can just log onto at any time. Most meetings have gone back to being in person or hybrid but there are literally hundreds that still exist on Zoom. There's even a website that has them all, fancy that?
