So what's that woke prat even whinging about then?
Just want to say I would never call her, or anyone else a “woke prat”. And being upset about someone using your gender or trans status against you doesn’t make you a “woke prat” either.

She has identified as she and her for a while and also never transitioned so is not transgender, but she does try to use these labels to get to unobservant to side with her and it’s deplorable.

PSA for newbies that Jack wants people to think this Tattle thread is full of bigoted right wingers and it never has been, and hopefully never will be.She uses it as an excuses to detract attention from the real issues. So coming on here and saying things like that helps her to take advantage of more people. It also can really offend the many lefties and centric lefties, that inhabit the thread 🙂

Never mind taking a pop at her ex, the most obvious posh chef is Nigella. Jack hasn’t thought this through.

Do we know if Jack has addressed any of Molly's tweets directly?

I think this might be important because it seems to me that when she thinks she has the upper hand, Jack will go after someone directly. If she hasn't it could mean one of two things:

1) She knows Molly's right and she's worried about what is coming next
2) Her lawyer has advised Jack not to because he knows she doesn't have a case against Molly

No, not having that. If you look through that person's twitter feed then "woke prat" sums him up perfectly. If you think that makes me "right wing" or a "bigot" then that's your problem. Not mine.

In all the years I did money and debt advice, the only people I ever knew of being cut off were caught fiddling their meter and we even managed to get them reconnected. They will put people on a prepayment meter for non payment which does put some people in a position where they're self disconnecting, in those cases we usually found that the debt repayment level was set too high and negotiated to get that reduced, we also put in for energy grants which in some cases led to most if not all of the debt being written off. As with everything if you're worried seek proper help asap and never, ever take advice from Jack. She is literally trying to kill you so she can do a poverty porn rant about you. RESIST.
Absolutely this

This is where definitions are important I think. Nigella would describe herself as a cook or food writer. As would Nigel, who has a whole shelf dedicated to his books in our house (split between him and THAT MAN anyway). Jack is a slop merchant!

Well that would make it my problem as well.

I forgot about Nigella. But I think this is the exception not the rule. Nigella also isn't known for her restaurant cookery which was my theme - proper working up from nothing to owning or running your own restaurant is the definition of graft.

One of my favourite episodes of Nigella is when she goes to run an errand and takes a thermos in a taxi with her - there is me thinking a cup of tea and how savvy to save a couple of quid - and she had taken a thermos of pea soup as a snack as she ran her errand, ate it in the back of the taxi, then went home to a full dinner party. Absolutely classic.

The phrase 'biting the hand' springs to mind......?!

Let's have a look at the current most popular chefs in the UK on the teevee and how posh are they?

Jamie Oliver (worth loads of money, all self made). Gordon Ramsay (grew up poor in Scotland to an alcoholic father, self made), Nadiya Hussein (grew up in Luton, self taught). Angela Hartnett (from Upminster, a degree from a polytechnic and started at a restaurant in Cambridge). Tom Kerridge (was a bit part child actor, went to cooking school at 18). Monica Galetti (immigrant from Samoa, one of the poorest places on the planet).

I've cooked under two of these chefs and let me tell you, if you called them posh you would be out on your ear. There are very few POSH chefs on the telly you absolute snob. Get the F**K a hold of yourself and stop projecting.
Tom kerridge was a child actor?????

Oh Jack, I imagine you are in a lot of people’s prayers.

I am in such a bad mood tonight. Normally I can think what’s at the root of it - most of the time it’s obvious but I was fine, having a great day and then boom, I’m FUMING. It’s not Jack that’s even put me in a bad mood but it grates my mushrooms that she sits all righteous in The crappy Bungalow doling out 12-Step advice when - imvho - she is not keeping her side of the street even remotely clean.

Can you imagine being someone who struggles with alcohol, and are toying with the idea of AA and then you see this Jackass lying, grifting, starting fights, being brazenly disingenuous, outing alcoholics on Twitter, being nasty and generally doing absolutely nothing productive with their life and wondering what kind of shitshow AA is.

There are a lot of things I would like to change about Jack but personally for me, AA Jack would be top of the list. It’s all one big game to her and she doesn’t care how damaging she is.

I’m going to go and take my face for a shite now I’ve got that off my chest.
BIB Loving this and stealing it.
(Malcolm Tucker style in my Geordie) “I‘m away to take me face for a shite”

I think actually there is so much more going on here before you actually get to the food - just basic tit like paying people who have bought stuff from you or washing your hands or not being rude to people (like the tory lady she ripped up for some basic supper she posted?).

By the way if you want to chat budget cookery my mum used to feed her and my Dad for £8 a week (it hasn't been like that for a while as my Dad has been unwell for a while) but mostly this was done by

a) growing a lot of food themselves
b) mainly eating veggie during the week
c) mum building up a store cupboard of herbs, spices, flours etc over the years when they had a bit of extra cash.

Why doesn't JM specify when she says a meal is 60p a portion whatever, that the dried goods from the supermarket are going to cost you £X per packet and then come up with a 6 month plan to stock your store cupboard which you can then use sparingly and then replace as necessary which would end up being your £2 extra per week or whatever. I understand we are now about to enter unprecedented times but up until now most people could have done that, built up an amazing kitchen over the course of a year, and then made her recipes without wondering how the hell they were going to afford a tsp of cumin.

(PS I understand this is not feasible for a family with 2 growing children or other instances but just a snapshot of maybe trying to be a bit more helpful when describing her thought process?)
I much prefer the influencers/food bloggers who do blogs/videos like "this is how I made 5 dinners with £25 worth of food from [supermarket]". On the recommendation of a frau on this thread, I bought Feed Your Family for £20 a week and I regularly use recipes from it
