shes just off out on the puppies first proper walk, great timing quarter to 11 right in the baking heat of the day.
Ffs it's too young to be walked outside. You're not supposed to take them out till they've had their second lot of jabs.

I know a few horror stories involving cats and rabbits unfortunately. Dogs too. In fact my most recent rescue was the subject of a cat attack before she came to me and her condition was critical for a while. Luckily she pulled through with intensive care from the vet. Rabbits are prey animals and cats are predators. As someone whose background is veterinary, I would personally never keep them together in the house. I know it can work but I would not risk it personally. I have over two decades of specialised experience in rabbits and even a mere scratch can lead to fatal sepis, rabbits go downhill very fast.

Cooper's territory is the house and garden, Dash's was the garage, so Cooper would not have been used to him or seen him all that regularly. Plus Cooper is huge and he knows it. He was the king of the castle until now, he will be raging and might attack the poor pup.

I also disagree about Cooper being gentle. I think he is a beast (he would have to be to survive Jack) and he was filmed and photographed being quite rough with the disabled kitten. I fear he may have brought about her passing and maybe Mini too.

I don't think he's that daft. She hung him out to dry all over the press for years making out that he was a bad parent

I think the last partner was just some unlucky sod she met in recovery who fell for her and then saw the light and after a lot of shagging said fuck that and lived happily ever after

I know what you mean. It's also unsettling because the exaggerated performance of carrying a pet around in a sling shows that she's not thinking about the animal's welfare, but her own image as a devoted pet owner. It's like she's trying to paint herself as a saviour because she's rescuing the animal and taking such good care of it. But when something bad happens, e.g. the animal becomes ill, she can use it for sympathy and drama. The reason I'm so concerned is because I think Jack views the animals as a possible source of attention and sympathy, and I wouldn't put it past her to neglect the dog and then use its condition for social media drama in a 'munchausens by proxy' scenario. I'm sorry if this suggestion is out of line. I feel cynical and unkind for even thinking it, but JM has such a bad record with pets that it's hard not to think the worst.

The thing is though the person as you know who has caused all of that is Monroe

She was warned not to just fling Cooper and the kitten together and did it anyway. Same with mini and now with this dog.

I personally think Cooper is neglected even if he's fed and watered.

Did dash not live in the house at one point until she decided to fling him in the garage. I'm sure he did from recollection.

This is great, I hope she keeps giving her advice as Jack's more likely to listen to her than ~anonymous trolls~. That said, I don't see the friendship lasting much longer.
Wise Spaniel Friend must be a secret frau/Tory/gammon/white winger because obviously that is the only possible reason to disagree with Jack.

Same here except swap dog with cat. Our ginger tom likes to know EXACTLY what we are doing at ALL times and has been known to come (poor choice of word!) f2f with us at the worst of times. Doesn’t stop us mind you!

Hard agree about Cooper being neglected. His nose in 2020 is a case in point. I think he is resilient and independent enough to manage and probably catches his own food or gets fed by the neighbours. Dash on the other hand was confined to a dark tomb and entirely reliant on Jack who is actually krptonite to animals. It's incredibly sad. Us bunny fraus were really hoping Dash had been rehomed with a capable owner but sadly Jack didn't do the decent thing. I just hope it was quick because the other scenarios are horrible to contemplate.

From what I remember of Jack's insta, he was adopted with another bunny when Jack lived in her flat previous or before previous to the not bungalow and he lived in a hutch in the flat. I don't think he lived in the bungalow but I'm not 100% sure. She did have him for a few years but nothing like the decade he could have lived for.

I've never done the deed as it were back in the days when I knew what shagging was in front of any of my cats

The scenarios are just too funny to think about. Some of my cats have been 1.chunky and 2. Lively

Imagine banging someone and your cat is swinging from the curtains low key hysterical

Right, took me a bit to find it but this is what I was on about yesterday - the 'kerching' SuperVets thing with that poor kitten... we're going to get the same thing happening again here, aren't we?

She has no reason to be rattling that tip jar for her new dog. If she can afford a grand for a dog she can put the tip jar away

What worries me more is her working out how much puppies can cost and times it by 8
Let's hope she is responsible and gets her neutered.
