Oh mate, I scoured this little part of https://giphy.com/AGt3vIWDwW70k but I couldn't find a Viennetta so I bought some coffee ice cream because I don't like coffee.
Jackonundrums.

Happy trecento threads, Jacko xoxo
It's Comtessa here (if you didn't know - don't want to assume!). When it first came to Spain they were unable to use the name Viennetta for legal reasons. Then at some point they changed the name to Viennetta. The name never caught on, and everyone was howling and gnashing for TWENTY YEARS until they changed it back to Comtessa.

At one point Unilever did a poll of 20.000 people about the name change and 100% of respondents voted for Comtessa over Viennetta.

I feel like a Spanish version of Jack would managw to get about 50 threads of tweets about this drama.

I’m a shy Frau, and much more of a lurker than a poster but I have been here since Thread 1 and was even lucky enough to be online for Jacks infamous Thread 31 appearance. Just wanted to say on this special day that you all have brightened my days so much during the last two and a bit years. I have laughed a lot and learnt a lot too; and as others have said this is definitely my favourite corner of the internet. Thanks to all of you.

I am the same! Have been here lurking the whole time (bar a brief Alice Evans interlude).
Had the pleasure of witnessing Jack’s visit live, back in thread 31, too.
You guys are all so funny and have got me through the various lockdowns, as a genuine single parent (who only manages to clock up 45 hours of work a week) NOT counting pissing around on Twitter & Tattle.
Happy 300th thread to you all!

Breaking lurkdom to say Happy 300th to one and all. You are all hilarious and I love reading your posts
Also giggling that Jack is probably grunking and having to sit on her hands to stop tweeting about vienetta ‘oh do you remember artic roll , angel delight etc etc’

I had a look at the wiki, I've never properly watched lockdown larder with her and st Matt of the forearms as the bits I've seen were so awful I couldn't face it, however I had a free afternoon and in honour of the 300th thread I watched them all.

They were worse than i thought possible. Why did she run everywhere, why was she so rude? On the plus side she wasn't as nasal

Hahaha same! After the MN thread I couldn't resist. Well I didn't watch them all as I was supposed to be studying but I watched a couple and now I am deceased by cringing

I thought at first she looked really pretty and yes, didn't sound so snivelly and nasal! But then she started talking, and cooking, and snarking, and LAUGHING unnecessarily and I couldn't take any more. Poor Matt!

Happy 300 you lovely canal. I have been craving Viennetta and mint choc chip Gino Ginelli all day!

Has Jack used the word 'canal' about her Venetian gavottage?
If so, hehe

Hello! I've been lurking since near the beginning. I found Tattle because M***n*t told me it was a place of sin, so I came to check it out. JM was one of the few names I recognised - but I thought they were a good egg, from my Grauniad days. Soon I learnt they were inexplicable. Working from home in lockdown I enjoyed catching up on DKL commentaries. I'm very much a wallflower, but I've loved being an NPC in the last 300 threads, so I thought I'd say 'Hi' before I go back to anonymity. I'm a silent Frau, who's off for a piss and a sandwich. Thankyou.

I picked up some Birthday cake Viennetta on the way home and it was nice! Who knew Viennetta was 100 years old? That seems madness to me.

EDIT: Maybe it's Wall's that's 100? Wikipedia says Viennetta is from 1982 which seems more likely (in which case happy 40th V, you young whippersnapper)
