Have to break it to you Jack, I’m as keen that there’s no subsidised piss ups as anyone but having hung out a few times in Strangers Bar back in the day, there IS a need for on-site bars and restaurants in the Houses - it’s called security? There are any number of visitors, constituents, researchers, assistants, admin as well as elected members and Lords hanging out there every day so there has to be food and drink. I don’t think it’s all that heavily subsidised when you consider it’s not a profit-making venture. Plus everyone in there has been vetted and gone through the airport-style scanner etc. You’d know Jack, as that happens when you go into No10 as well.
I also think you underestimate the amount of Uber/deliveroo/delivery services that would drop off a few bottles, some lunch and some snacks there to the staff.

🥕subsidised arseholery

I don't know... A place like that is probably close to £1000 per month and I thought she only had about £800 in Patreon subs?
That’s the absolute bare bare bare bare minimum she could be getting. Personally I think it’s a bit more as her Twitter audience are largely affluent #FBPE liberal types. Will do annual update at nap time today with a range of estimates.

The housing topic fucks me off no end - what does she expect? Firstly there’s a housing crisis. She’s not working much for starters and she’s certainly not developing a career? Is she aware of how much work like a new kitchen or extension would cost, even if you’re a homeowner it’s not always clear cut as you’ve got to think about your home’s market cap and ROI on big work like that, and if you borrow the money it impacts so many things. Life isn’t as easy as me want me gets even if you’re lucky enough to be comfortable, everyone has a finite amount of money that everything has to come from.

She is really dumb?????

I spy a fancy Nespresso Creatista machine with integrated milk frother. I have one (fancy) and bought at Argos. It was nearly £350. I might add that this was bought by my partner who wanted one for when he stays. I'd make do with Tesco instant.

Though for Jack to have one is a bit odd. It seems a lot for someone to pay for a coffee machine when they don't drink coffee.
Yeah, yeah, we all know you found it in a puddle @MancBee

She has spent 45 quid on a set of seven dust traps. Once the grease from cooking gets on the wicker, and the dust sticks to the grease.... won't that be lovely.
Dust and grease? Where and when did you get insider access to her latest recipe???!

This is just insanity, is she using cooking with wine as some kind of flex as to how bad an alcoholic she was? You cook the alcohol off you fucking berk. And yes, of course for abstinence for any reason I understand why you wouldn’t use it but stop trying to elevenerife your fabricated problems with coq-au-vin. God she’s exhausting.

Just had a quick check over on her Patreon. Latest post is still the one she posted on 23 November 2020 entitled 'Discount Code for November!'

I know a lot of people here feel sorry for her patreons. I don't share that sentiment. If you are rich enough to not care or notice that a monthly fee gives you nothing in return, you deserve a non-existent beige postcard. Just wish those people would donate to an actual charity instead, given they evidently have enough disposable income.

If she thinks the bars and restaurants in HoP are subsided, she should have been apoplectic at the amount of subsidies that the EU bars and restaurants had while we were part of it. (and still do)

But for some reason that didn't bother her. Probably because nobody had pointed it out to her.

Not a single original thought in her head. Political activist my arse. (and that's almost swearing)

She really flounders around for an identity, doesn't she? I know many of you (all of us?!) have said it again and again, but each day I am staggered by how directionless and unformed she is. It's quite astonishing.

There is absolutely no way she didn’t buy all of it for a small fortune. The postage alone would cost a bomb.

If we need to stay angry and focused we count.

Remember that.

We were there during the great chair counting of 2021 and sometimes- hang the F on, GRANOLA ? . Squiggle, I love you so much. You have mentioned the unmentionable, crossed the streams and brought the Holy Grail to her attention.

My work here is done. Off to live a simple life of Hinch threads and Alpaca YouTube videos.

I do not agree with the way independent schools have widened the education gap over the last two years. But the way Jack naively writes about Eton from her privileged grammar education is just wrong.
Babe, same x I know people who work in the private education sector (🔺️) and yes there are many privileged children at that school getting unfair opportunities. But there are also lower middle class kids and second gen immigrant kids whose parents have sacrificed everything to get their child into that school - remortgaged the house, working two jobs each etc etc. Because the state schools in the local area are diabolical and they want to give their children the best opportunities. No cushty state grammer schools in almost all areas beyond the south east of England.

It's something middle class people do a lot.Feel like they can be vocal about how unfair private schools are while simulatenously ignoring the privilege they had growing up in a postcode that got them into a state school where teachers turned up, stabbings weren't rife etc etc.

Jack (and many others) just can't see nuance.

ETA remember when she “accidentally” streaked across the room in just her socks and “bubble buddy” LJc was on a work zoom?
And when Jack was working from home doing DKL Louisa sat quietly in another room but got lambasted on Twitter by Jack for WATCHING TV thus being the reason the smol pixie's live link was shit. Apparently.
