Who even says that?! “I’m not somebody’s sexual fetish, I’m a person”, I’m all for a bit of confidence but come on love, you’re not all that
I'm sure there were a few posts on Twitter or Tumblr about this. Some sort of 'reply in the comments with how many porn categories you fit into', as a slightly cringeworthy social experiment to show how deeply sexualised all types of women are. Either she was referring to that, or, well, she thinks being a food bank mum is a fetish?

Tbh I would have thought if they were undergoing treatment for anything it would be Social Media addiction ,spending eleventy million hours a day tweeting every minutiae of her life ,I mean the world doesn't need to know you have the raging shits for example ,now you could argue all day long whether there is any grain of truth to all the crumb dropping they have been doing over the last few days .

But if they are trying to sort out any major issues whether it be an addiction to whatever or just some major dental treatment hopefully it all goes well and she comes out the other side better than they went in .

She totally fucked up imo not giving the Full Time Meals thing a 👍whether her squiggle defenders or (🧦🧦🧦)take your pick your honour ,think she invented cheap cooking ,a lot of brands etc will jump on this train Sainos,Asda,Waitrose and Ocado are already behind it and more will undoubtedly follow along with those famous faces who will lend a hand .

Anyway BUSY so I'm gonna fuck right off .
I believe Co-op are already on board with this

It was linked from the article, but was gone when I clicked through. It might be because it led to her old URL girlcalledjack. I didn't realise she migrated her content across to the bootstrap page. When I googled, I could only find the 'suicidal people don't batch cook' one, which I can't be arsed to read. I've had enough of her writing for today.
Ahhh, yeah it's still up on bootstrap https://cookingonabootstrap.com/201...months-ago-in-my-beatrix-potter-cosy-poverty/

ETA; didn't realise there was two different blogs (and probably countless more!)

I'm really glad you know. Its a long time since I watched the street. Details are hazy. Do Martin and Gail still exist? How about David? Please ignore me if this is triggering. Think I should have spoilerered this, not very nice for tomorrow's grunkas.
Apologies in advance.
Oh god I was really confused about David Platt the kickyball player from way back. Makes more sense now

I know talking about someone's sexuality is a tad frowned upon, yet I have to say I think Jack is bisexual (been thinking this for a while). Nothing wrong with being bi, I consider myself bi for the record. Jack wants to fit into a clique, she wants it so badly, and the whole coming out at pride thing is great, but I think it's only half her story and was done to get Jack into a niche.

She's had relationships with men, conceived a child, lusts over men openly, she was flirting all over the shop on DKL with male guests more than female ones, and I'm calling bi (but ashamed for some reason) Love is love Jack! It's the LGBTQ community. If you like either or, that's ok!!!

Just personal opinion on evidence provided, m'lud.
Jack has tweeted before (although it may well have been deleted by now) that they "don't care what's between someone's legs" when it comes to dating, so I'd say that covers any accusations of untoward speculation.

And as I've said in other threads, I don't think speculating about the sexuality of public figures is that bad, honestly. Random squiggles, sure, you probably shouldn't, at least not publicly. Although there is a difference between speculating and ending up like the Kaylor people lol.

IMHO I think it was two things with DKL that made her tricky, based on what I know of her.

1. I think Jack LOVED the idea of people bringing her things and being 'the talent'. I worked with a presenter in the early part of last year before lockdown and before we were due to film heard she was quite demanding. She may have been but I didn't see that. When I got on set she was totally professional, very charming with me, read her autocue with ease (even though she had never done TV before) and took direction well. The difference, this woman was GOOD at her job. So even though she may have been sucking up to me, the series producer and others and acting like an entitled cow to the other production staff, she was largely thought well of.

I imagine Jack acted pretty entitled and was also not that great at taking direction or reading an autocue, so the pain of working with her wasn't even 'worth it' for the team.

Personally I cannot stand people who act as though the production team are there to serve them and try and butter up 'the creatives'. I came up in TV through production and it really grates my mushrooms.

2. I don't do live TV so can't comment on the sniping between Jack and Matt (plus I haven't watched DKL and don't really want to) but I've had rushes through before where I've thought 'eeeesh that was a bit sharp/they did not like answering that question' and sometimes you have to cut around it because it's sorta obvious. But those instances are few are far between because normally production will have thought about chemistry etc or worked with the person prior. I get the sense that Jack was a wild card that did not pay off for a casting producer. They would have gotten it in the neck. I would have!
Oh god yes being able to actually do the job makes a massive difference!
Sorry, I was just assuming no aptitude as a baseline my scenarios (I.e Jack) and a PIta or a Name.

No they are about 20 years out of date for the kid market. Russell would have been good during the bblb days and ferne during the ant and Dec era. They need some new inspiration, plus I really don't think( and I don't mean this nastily) she is down with the kids either I mean how many children actually know who she is. They would be better off with someone like Katie from the cooking show on cbeebs at least there's a chance most kids of cooking age will remember her from being younger.
Katie’s great. I’m going to miss the Cbeebies lot when we stop watching.

She wasn't being snarky in the original article that caused the pile on. Shows the level of sense and logic in Jack and her squiggle army minds. Idiots.

Has the rained on grammar school article deleted off her blog now? It was def there a few weeks ago (with the new anodyne title lol!). If it's been deleted now, it's more proof Jack reads here as we were discussing it a couple of weeks back and I was able to link it (I only remember because I put a trigger warning on it due to the content)

I've been binge watching one of those hoarders programmes (makes me feel better about my domestic chaos as I can even clean the floor!) and I've seen food from years ago that doesn't look as bad as some of Jack's concoctions.
Mr SM loves those programs. He thinks that his auction/car boot habit doesn’t mean he’s a hoarder!

hey thank you so much for your reply. I have had a perching stool in the past, long story but I don't have it any more, may look into another one, thank you.
Ninja mini chopper you say... Off to Google I go 🤣

This is one of the few times I've been out of step with the cabal. I've always crushed on rb, only very recently starting to find his cchim stroking philosophism slightly annoying. Reminds me somewhat of when Jim Carrey underwent a complete personality overhaul after a particularly unsavoury episode.
Interestingly Jim Carrey also chose the philosophising guru route as his rebirth incarnation
Ken Wood have a mini food processor/chopper which is very good.

Here's a screenshot from the Whitworth Locke website - not sure if this will work. If it does, notice the carafe.

ETA It worked!!
The kitchen style seems to match the happy place?

Sorry to quote myself, but they're gradually appearing on her follower list now. Still really weird that there's such a steady flow of them.
Could it be from the world book night giveaway?
