I’m so sorry you lost your beloved. I’ve got no better words. It’s heartbreaking and awful and unfair.

Jack using someone’s diagnosis for attention must be particularly upsetting for you, I just hope the person in question isn’t aware of her behaviour.

I feel really uncomfortable about the deleted tweet this evening.

It sounds counter-intuitive, and I'm sure she'll doubt it when she reads this, but I've been worried about her 'news' ever since she mentioned it last week... to see a loved one go through an illness, whatever it might be, is absolutely awful, and my heart really does go out to her if that's where she's at the moment. I wouldn't wish the worry on anyone.

But also, I really believe these things are best played out beyond the glare of social media.

I fully welcome there are those that will watch and report back on the Del Monte posts (probable shit show). I watched DKL, there was sufficient cringe in those two weeks that I can not subject myself again. I am interested in the results but can't subject myself to the discomfort!

I really want to watch Lingreeeenie but I can't find it anywhere except the ITV website that doesn't work even with a VPN. I bragged to my family that it was gonna be funny and I have let them down.

All in for DelMonte. I will stay up and watch!

If The cancer thing isn't Jack's news to share then I'm not going to talk about it. I don't know anyone who hasn't had a sick family member this year, it's something you talk about with friends and family and crack on as best you can in these crazy times.

The tea in a slow cooker thing is just a blatant lie, surely. If you “cook” tea, all the tannins get cooked out and you get that bitter, stewed taste. And that’s just after over-brewing for a couple of minutes - god knows what it’s like after an hour or two in the slow cooker.
Does she know anything about food at all? I honestly wonder.

They are still on her instagram, just scroll back a bit.

I will most likely not watch her live. For some reason lives on instagram / facebook creep me out, and I don't cope well with second hand embarrassment.

I have a family member who does something similar, just throws out utterly mad lies in conversation. It's really awkward.

I lost my Mum a few months ago, one thing I do hope for Jack and her family is that we are soon out and stay out, of Lockdown. It made everything so much harder to deal and cope with, with all the restrictions.

How can one evening go from containing such hilarity to such sadness and anger?

Were we having too much fun?

Was the attention directed in the wrong place?

Anyway, our resident detectives ( @Harrybosch @LennyBriscoe ) need not worry, she will be expecting granola questions on Tuesday and I know the rules. I will get the recipe another way. I haven’t figured that out yet.

ETA @Cack Slumrow so sorry about your Mum. I hope all this stuff isn’t making it too hard for you.

@Into_the_tunnel thank you lovely, no, being on here, however frustrating Jack's behaviour is, is a joy, and if it wasn't, unlike Jack I would stay away.
I have just seen the screenshot (I always grunka backwards!) she is truly awful, for some reason it's her mention of her "350k+ followers" in it that has jarrred me.

For some reason I can only like posts, I would love them if I could!

I think the Dutch paper Jack has tagged in this tweet may be a tad confused!
