I hope someday the cabal can have a meetup, whether on an assigned bench by the sea, in our second home of Edinburgh, picking lemons in a Cypriot grove, or in the Groucho craning our necks at Redcar. Someday!
It’s got to be Southend, the home of our Lord and Saviour Jack Monroe 🙏🏻 How many assigned benches would we need, though!

Was listening to James O Brien today and he said our Jack is on his podcast 'Disclosure' this week, was kinda funny as he led up to that by talking about faux poor people that aren't really poor as they could just call up their dad for a sub if they got stuck then he said " unlike Jack Monroe who will be on the podcast this week " had to laugh

The ED claim has popped up before, some newer fraus may not have seen this from #83, regarding what her parents used to give her for breakfast. Popped behind a spoiler for those who don't want to read.

Why can she not just give him a chicken dinner... why does everything have to be mixed together? It would have been less work if she is that frazzled.

ETA: she says it is 3 portions so now he has to have reheated frozen veg 2 more times

He probably 'wolfed' it down because it's the closest thing resembling solid food in the crappy Bungalow since Brexit Tin Thief Louisa Compton brought in some contraband Waitrose cheese to 'snarf' on.

This is possibly one of the first things Jack has posted I’ve thought looks edible 😱

yeah so much of her behaviour is, on reflection, food limiting and disordered eating- tiny portions, the poverty and not eating, calling herself greedy, loads of portions/ eating in bed....

Her son’s dinner, as usual, looks bleeping disgusting. What was the point in her book Good Food for Bad Days, if on any day good or bad, she can’t quite get it together to make her child a tasty and healthy meal. She’s a selfish hag and she can’t ducking cook!!

@discokebab thank you. I think the “feral” label was emotive because in the context of the information it was “blaming” the child for behaviours which are known to be related to either neglect or disability.
It is not the child’s fault if they have not been previously adequately cared for. That does not make them a hilarious oddity.
No one with an iota of empathy would use such a word to describe a child, let alone a child in need of care. It's something a middle class mum would say when her toddlers were running around the garden naked - 'oh my, Tabitha and George have become feral'.
