Wtf this isn't middle school! You don't stop being friends with someone because of an unrequited crush. I get how it can make some people uncomfortable but if Jack isn't, good for him!

Alright, chill. This is a gossip sight and I was just speculating. Just seemed weird bc they were never friends until she said that. More of a reflection on her - as I said, I wasn’t implying that anything had happened.

Ye, this isn't middle school. You're allowed a nuanced take on stuff. Id be really uncomfortable if my boyfriend hung out loads with someone who publicly kept saying they fancied him, and Id expect him to respect that and tone down their friendship.

Yeah I don't know how I would feel in this situation because something similar happened to me and my friend, but at the time we were both single and we just put the one-sided crush behind us and kept a strong friendship, but I don't know how this would have gone if he had been in a relationship! I would totally understand his hypothetical girlfriend being bothered by us remaining close, and I wouldn't have told him my feelings in the first place! So yeah, it's mainly her making it so public that's a little strange!

Yeah, sorry, that was a pretty harsh post. Didn't mean to come across so crabby, but I've been in a Jack's situation before when my ex boyfriend was really jealous of my best friend, so I guess I was riled up.

@Lizziexoxoco That's okay, don't worry!! I understand your point - I think there's definitely a line between reasonable concerns and unnecessary jealousy. I think it's more just how publicly Haz spoke about it, when his girlfriend is very much separate from his online life, so if I were in her position I think I'd feel a bit uncomfortable!

I can guess which 'celebrity' he's referring to, but I don't really watch TV anymore, so I could be way off the mark (i.e. the person actually isn't on TV much).

Could be though, he has popped up on YouTube channels before so is in that world. Not sure id really class him as a celebrity though 🤷‍♂️

PAs are paid to big up their boss, so celebrity/star could reasonably be an exaggeration. 😅

Maybe because he become pally with them, maybe it could also be that Eliza who was on made in Chelsea for a bit? Seemed to know them two

I find it odd that he only posted only after having had it. That doesn't go with his usual attention seeking style. Youd think he would post while sick, not weeks later. Also the photos themselves...hmmm...maybe its me but something didn't sit right

The photos look like IG stories that he drafted but never posted. My thought is: he got ill, presumed it was COVID, so never got tested, but didn't want to be called out for not getting confirmation. I don't know, but I wouldn't feel like taking selfies if I was suffering with a severe respiratory condition.

It makes me laugh that he was seriously calling out influencers in Dubai when it was only a few months ago he was swanning around Europe with jade and eve. Yeah he had supposedly not left the house bar a trip to Aldi but it stunk of hypocrisy for him to be so mad about it.

Also, since when has this idea about making a BTS book recommendation video popped into his mind? It’s the first time I’ve ever heard him talk about them and sounds to me like he’s taking a leaf out of Jade’s book and is trying to reel in ARMY for views :/ as an ARMY myself I just see it as him being a fake fan trying to get views lol

To be fair, it fits with his style of video recently. They've all been 'I read every book x celebrity recommended'. He's trying to cash in on all celebrities, not just BTS.

Thank you for correcting me! It really annoys me when people do this because, to me, it makes their channel much less personal? Like it’s sad because obviously Jack loves reading and I’d like to think he has made this second channel to share that. But all these celebrity challenges and challenges based off trends like you say is just one big opportunity to cash in on fanbases. I wouldn’t mind if they were sprinkled in between normal reading vlogs and stuff he was passionate about but from my knowledge, these trendy ones are all he’s done of recent. Just seems more fake to me :/
