Yes he is a product of the Blair generation...also firsts are easier to get than they were 20 to 30 years ago...and I say that as someone who has just got one.He's only 1st generation, probably because typically it was only doctors, vets, lawyers & clergy who needed degree level. Nurses, teachers etc went to colleges and gained diploma's - now most subjects are taught at degree level
He is still incredibly privileged, but the further education system has changed dramatically, so his parents possibly would've gone to Uni had they been of age now. Also University education is not an indication of intelligence, which I think a lot of Studytubers forget.
Haha I think higher education is an indicator of intelligence tbh, I didnt think so until I went and noticed the difference in how I thought to how friends and family who didnt go thought. maybe intelligence is the wrong word but it opens the mind and causes you to question things. But again that may depend on the course you do. What academia isnt an indicator of it common sense and life skills, as anyone who has had to work with academics can testify to
