Jack, maybe you’ve ‘lost yourself’ because your entire personality was based around being a last minute student. Now you’re living in London without a job because you’ve got no employable skills

The new clothes might get you a few likes on Instagram, but they won’t get you a job

What is he even doing right now? He lives alone and shouldn't be seeing people, he isn't studying and he isn't working... yeah, he has youtube, but what kind of content can he possibly make if he doesn't do anything? Can he climb or are gyms closed because of lockdown? (I can't climb too because in Italy gyms are closed, so if that's the case I suffer with you Jack!!)
The point is that I would be going mad! You can read and watch netflix for a while, but then you have to fill your days somehow to keep your sanity!

Literally my secondary school had ASBESTOS in the cupboards and walls and we had music classes in a portacabin for three years. He’s right to bring up the disparity because it’s there but god accept your privilege, those photos look like a dream school haha (previous poster)

I was at a private school (and was lucky for that) but even we had classes in a portacabin. Drama & Geography were in portacabins. Got cold there in the winter. The geography one was at the back of the playground down a really narrow set of stairs and was positioned in a ditch between two buildings. Needless to say it ended up flooding and was out of use for years by the time I left.

Not long until Jack is 22, safe to say that he's getting too old for the "studytuber" role at this point. What will he do next?

Given I saw him asking for details on twitter on how to apply for some sort of influencer marketing role in a publishing house literally only a few days ago... I would not be posting that now after giving the new potential employer a way to see it by them already knowing his twitter handle. Let alone if the people he's currently working for see it.

Ok forgive my ignorance, but why is it Oxford that all of these studytubers seem obsessed with? Just find it interesting that far more of them seem to apply and go there over Cambridge.

There also seems to be a stigma about how “easy” it is to get into Cambridge (it’s by no means easier) but it can be seen as “easier” than oxford

Jack is my boy, but I have noticed a lot of people don't care for him. He makes the games so much more fun/entertaining in my opinion. I've seen on YouTube comments and other social media that he gets a lot of heat. I feel like all Boston based commentators are unconventional, especially Tommy.
