My guess would be AGP not gay (although an element of AGP would be fantasising about submitting to sex with men, because that’s what “real girls” do... it’s all part of a sissy fetish )From a strictly armchair psychologist POV he probably is gay and this is the way he thinks best to “deal” with it, something I’ve found of those who come out at a later stage in life. Even the way he talks about his colleagues “how could I come out to a bunch of macho guys” suggests he never saw himself in that way and associates macho with men and not being macho means he thinks he must be a woman then.
It’s interesting how many AGPs have incredibly macho lives pre-transition. I went to uni with a textbook AGP (although I didn’t know it had a name at the time because it was 20 years ago - let’s just say they were porn obsessed and used to cross dress before coming out as trans in their 30s). This person had - and still does have - a very macho job and macho hobbies.
