The main issue I have with her Cricut projects, is that because she mainly only uses it for her “monthly project”, she just does the same beginners projects over and over; just rehashed as a different theme. They can do so much more than just printing out letters/words to label stuff and make bunting. I love my Cricut as I use crafting to help with my mental health but I like to try lots of different challenges with it. Come on Em, use the internet for some inspiration and do something other than fake Rae Dunn lettering

I went through the perimenopause (it lasted a year)...It takes four years on average from the perimenopause to the last period. Em is making out the perimenopause can last 10 years (no it doesn't). She says she was going to be prescribed sertraline for her perimenopausal symptoms. Sertraline has no effect on perimenopausal symptoms - it's prozac that's effective. I think her friend Khila has been giving her 'advice' as she's on sertraline

My perimenopausal symptoms were hot flushes, forgetfulness & really heavy periods (my gp advised me to use a mooncup/diva cup to measure the loss. But, these symptoms only lasted 12 months and then my periods stopped altogether (I was 48). I still get the odd hot flush however

Ah okay, this is reassuring. I know it's different for everyone, but I watched a little of Ems vid and just felt an impending sense of doom. Then saw people commenting saying it happened to them in their 30's etc. I'm 36 now and don't wanna turn into Em . Slightly gagging at the thought of her dry vag! It’s really strange how I now view her channel. I first stumbled across her when my self esteem was low and enjoyed her content as a plus sized woman. I’ve since made peace with my own bouncy castle body and found a quirky style that I’m really enjoying (and purchase myself). I think she needs to forget about what she sees fashion pages/influencers doing and embrace her own style for her over 40 body and skin. I don’t say this to be mean (as someone fat and about to turn 50) but as we get older, you have to make major changes to what make up etc you wear. Here is me in all my morbidly obese glory, loving myself that little bit more (after years of self loathing), albeit with my desperate to be waxed eyebrows

I also found it a bit weird that she went to the self checkout by herself. She was with Kim in the sandwiches bit at the front, they then both went further into the store together but Em came back by herself and went to the checkout then went and stood by herself waiting for Kim I guess. Like why would you do that, why wouldn’t you find her in the store and go to the checkout together?

The vlog ways sponsored by them, she’d be after more freebies and another trip, so keeps them sweet by featuring them plenty.

Funnily, vlogging and documenting her fitness journey would actually be something which could be of interest to her followers, and she says she’s not going to mention it. 80% she doesn’t want to be kept accountable and 20% she’s having to pay for it herself, no one is paying her. If she’s shit and doesn’t keep it up, no ones going to come in and sponsor her. She will be shit and give up because her expectations are not remotely realistic right now.

Herbs will be dead in a few weeks staying in those pots. I’m sure if she did the bare minimum and read the cards, they’d have guidelines on. I bought a growing rosemary in Asda at Christmas for 50p and it’s thriving on my kitchen windowsill in a new pot.

Could somebody explain to me why should I be excited about an orange, mostly plastic stuff, same every year, always appears in the middle of summer, nothing NOOO, nothing NIIIIICE, for goodness sake. She wants autumn in summer, then she will be waiting for winter in autumn, and so on. Only to buy more tat. Sad life in my opinion. Very sad.

I can't stand pemature seasonal commercialism like this. We're no longer allowed to live life in the moment. And when it comes to autumn she won't be able to "enjoy" the orange plastic tat because the hype will be on for xmas red and green plastic crap in September. And "influencers" like her perpetuate this nonsense.
