Holy tit the Cats in the Cradle one is dark.
I never saw that before.
I love the 1980s ESB one: a real classic. Someone did an excellent parody of it in the last year or two, if I find it I'll post it here.
It's surreal when I look at that now ,this is what we watched as kids .I couldn't imagine my own kids watching that yet it was an acceptable Ad on TV for my generation ,there's one with Billy Mitchell from Eastenders too I must look for it ....Yes see if you can find it x

Anyone remember the holy water font hanging by the door! My granny wouldn’t part with hers even though all was left of Jesus was his torso and one arm sellotaped on, it was sacred she said 🙏🏻😊

You know that thing when you phone home, and your Dad answers the phone. Which mine rarely did!
He would say "everything in order?".
I'd say yes, and then he'd say "I'll get your Mother".
Then afterwards he'd be on to my Mum for all the news!!
RIP Dad. x

Not RTFT, but my Mum was Irish, grew up near Dublin and then Galway, lived in England for many years (Dad was English) and then they moved to Kerry for retirement until Dad died.

Anyway, that's completely irrelevant!! But does anyone remember GYE - Guinness Yeast Extract? like an Irish Marmite. Mum used to buy it for my brother but wouldnt let me have it as she thought it contained alcohol. I'd always sneak some when she wasnt around...
