Look at his hand, in his pocket. What's it doing? Cheap suit with shallow pockets? Or is his hand clenched into a fist regardless of pocket-depth?

AE's expression looks sad, despite the smile (and look at the size of his head compared to hers which isn't even small)

IG looks the same as he does in many photos: smug, full of his own self-delight, mummy's pretty little boy

They must have decided on this pose in advance, with her for some reason portraying the big-sister role. I used to believe AE had a strongly masculine presence. But now, I suspect it's more a case of IG having a strong little-girl presence

Why is his hand in his pocket? And should we guess it's the same with his other hand?

Why aren't his arms around her? I mean, ask yourself why. And this isn't the only photo of this kind featuring the pair of them. Compare it to photos of yourself with your man at the time. Would he have stood with his hands in his pockets? What would you have thought if he had? Do your daughter's husband or lover stand like a tin-god with his hands in his pockets as she hugs him? What would you think if he did? Be honest

Remember the interview in the garden with AE, IG and Piers Morgan? Remember little boy IG clutching AE's hand throughout? It looked awkward as hell and made him look like a mentally deficient idiot who was reliant on hanging onto AE-Mum as if his life depended on it. What was that about and why didn't Piers or the photographer quit filming to explain that in order to get the three of them in the shot, they were being compelled to show IG leaning far over in order to hold AE's hand which would look strange to viewers, particularly as IG seemed incapable of existing on his own in his own chair and as AE was seemingly so accustomed to IG's clinginess and so sensitive to his needs that she tolerated the sheer unmanliness of him

Did IG develop an overwhelming revulsion for AE during her pregnancies and afterwards? Was/is he revolted by womanliness generally, except when it applies to his mother? Is that what happened, same as Priscilla Presley claimed occurred between her and the mighty Elvis once she'd given birth? If so, no wonder AE grew more and more despondent and no wonder she wants to rip IG's guts out now

As for BW and her Pollyanna performance -- she's savvy and has friends. She didn't fall out of a rainbow. Hope she's thinking about all this, because no matter how much people choose to paint IG as the 'good' one in contrast to Bad Alice, BW knows from life experience that this can never be the case outside women's fiction. Hope she's getting in with a few questions of IG. And if she plans a long term relationship with him (I tend to suspect there's no intimacy between them outside IG fangirls' heads) she might be wise not to contemplate having a family with him and instead cultivate into old age her virginal innocence role, for fear she and her widening thighs and hips cause him to find her as repulsive as he appears to find AE
What the actual duck? 😳

That's the one! Glad I hadn't imagined it
I have a seven year old, she thinks daddy thinks I’m beautiful and always will even if he didn’t. She looks like me, our youngest looks like him, we are very careful that they don’t ever think they aren’t beautiful, not in a conceited way. She even manipulates those poor children, or lies about the things they’ve said.

You've given this far more thought than I ever will, but I did notice his distancing behavior with the hand in pocket. It's odd there are so many 2-shots where she's got him in a half-Nelson, as if she's afraid he's planning on making a run for it.

Many of the men keep their hand in their pocket:
Daniel Craig seems to do it a lot, John krasinski, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds plenty more, even with their wife on on their arm.
Mind you none of the women look like they are grabbing their husbands as if he might run away. They are comfortable, Alice seems to have an awkwardness on the red carpet. As I would!

an interesting read compared to what Alice is doing. They mention men need to stop doing this.
I'm not ignoring the fact that women are statistically more at risk of the kind of behaviour discussed in that article just as they are statistically more often the victims of DV & worse. I'm a woman but it's high time society acknowledged that DV can & does happen to men too.

It may not affect men at the same rate as it does women but to ignore the fact it does happen is doing male victims a huge disservice & helps feeds the continuing stigma about a man being a DV victim in the first place. This makes it much harder for men to come forward. The shame they must feel due to society's stereotyping of men & women & the mockery they likely face is a huge barrier to men admitting even to loved ones they have been abused.

I remember a tweet mocking Yo & dismissing his claim as a lie using a mans physical strength as the reason it was a lie.
DV doesn't always mean physical harm. There are plenty of other ways to truly harm people that don't leave visible scars.
Not to mention male victims of a female's physical violence often don't hit back as not all men think hitting a woman is acceptable, even in self defence.

Where is a similar article condemning female abusers? An article condemning mAlice for her long term abuse & the supporters who encourage her & continue it on SM on her behalf? Where is an article highlighting her DV abuse of Yo shown in 113 pages of documented proof not to mention the TRO & the fact he needed a police escort when he went back to the house to collect his things?

The bile she spewed on SM after he left & prior to the TRO was largely overlooked/ignored simply because she's a woman & got a free pass for her disgusting behaviour as she was viewed as the poor broken hearted wife, blah blah blah.
Reverse the sexes & Yo would have been crucified in the media.

I think Yo is incredibly brave admitting he was a victim of DV. This wouldn't have been an easy decision, not least because he's a very private person but she has turned their divorce into a media shitstorm & I imagine he also thought of the girls.
Whether it hinders his career remains to be seen but I really hope not as that would be to victimise him all over again & he's suffered enough.
It would be good to think that his case might be a good place for society to start seriously addressing female to male abuse, openly accept it does happen & call it out for what it is. Abuse. No excuses just because the perpetrator has a womb. ETA sadly, I'm not holding my breath.

There was a post where supposedly Elsie asked why all the makeup Mama? And she says I don’t know I just never do it so I thought I would. And Elsie replies, I know you, you’re hoping Daddy will think you’re pretty again. I’d say by that time it was too little too late.
I have this receipt somewhere given by another poster and it’s in the first or second thread. If I ever have enough time I’ll try and find it.
The problem is for Alice that the way she puts make up on makes her look worse. The inflated life buoy of red coming at you is just hideous.

Alice, look after your health and skin, and forget the make up. Dump the fillers and bad dye. You'll look so much better.

I don’t think anyone here has ever said Bianca has fallen out of a rainbow. Some of us don’t believe they will run the course, and there may even be faint suspicion about the film, including funding and the timing of announcements. Pretty sure none of us thinks she’s perfect. But she seems a nice person from what she chooses to share, unlike Alice and what she chooses to share. It’s all we have to go on.

I did not, actually! Someone else on here mentioned it and I had no clue since I hadn't seen Harrow yet. I plan on watching it as soon as possible! :D

Sorry everyone, I was down with a migraine yesterday so couldn't check the court website. I just checked and the hearing date is still listed as March 11. I also bought the "Notice of Unavailability" and it's a whole lot of nothing, just a notice that Alice's attorney will be unavailable this week (2/28 to 3/4). Nothing has been filed to indicate that the hearing date has been moved.

I think it's sad that you think strength is equal to 'manliness', that 'little girls' are weak. That IG not holding AE's hand on the red carpet equals arrogance yet him holding her hand in the Piers interview is clingy and child-like. That BW needs to cling to a virginal ideal when she's obviously not a virgin, she was married.
And I'm not sure what the size of someone's head has to do with anything, you do realise we can't actually control the size of our heads or our height or the colour of our eyes. It's called genetics.

oh wow, I just saw Lupine's take on the importance of tanks in the war. Is there any topic this dude tweets about where he has any clue what he is talking about?

gets absolutely murdered for this in replies and quoted posts

Somehow makes me feel at ease that this is who Alice trusts :ROFLMAO:
This just backs up my theory that Lupin was a failed BA majoring in Political Studies. He is insufferable.
