You're right, that is a wholly separate issue and the judge would not be able to rule on anything but the petition for the TRO at the hearing yesterday.I’m sure that’s separate. This is a safety issue. Would the same judge at the hearing be able to rule on temporary custody also? Or anything to do with the divorce?

I read these pages yesterday. I remember reading her drunken rages on the old Imdb message board. Totally nuts. It was nice to also see people there sticking up for ioanonline as well. I remember the Ladies of the Forum as a fine group of mostly women who supported each other with their life issues, much like what happens here on Tattle. The Comments there are from 2007 and reveal AE used numerous IDs and also deleted her posts. So nothing's changed.
She was regarded back then as the kiss of death for his career. Also described as a 'skank'. And was mistaken for a transvestite, etc.
As I've said, thanks for posting the above site. Because those recent photos of her had me feeling sorry for her all over again, which is why I have been lurking rather than posting. I still pity her as I would anyone with a severe mental illness, but it seems clear her current behaviours are simply a replay of those of 2007 and probably long before

The judge did not grant that exception on the temporary restraining order, probably because he thought that no peaceful child custody exchange would be possible with Alice. So Ioan has to wait till the hearing on March 11 to get that exception. They can't do a peaceful custody exchange during this period if it requires them being closer than 300 feet/100 yards, so they would have to get a third party (police officer, court appointed person, family friend) to do the exchange. Though to be honest, I doubt Alice would let him see the kids willingly anyway.

I would fire a client who was uncontrollable and disregarded my advice to the detriment of her case. He or she wouldn't be getting value from my services and would be best advised to find counsel elsewhere. Luckily I haven't had anyone nearly as bad as AE. Have you?

I have a sick feeling she will try to have the eldest E lie against him....Finally caught up. So we've finally seen a bit of the real Alice.
She'll break the TRO of course, but she isn't going to win this. I do worry she wil escalate things, as her usual tactics won't work.

To summarize, the restraining order was granted. Both Ioan and Bianca are protected from Alice:
- Abusing them (defined in the TRO which I will post)
- Contacting them in any way
- Alice must stay 300 feet/100 yards away from Ioan, Bianca, and their home
- Ioan has been granted the power to record communications made by Alice that violate the TRO.
