I’m sorry but I don’t get why Alice thinks Ella is modeling material? She’s a pretty girl but she looks sad, pale, and not well put together. She shouldn’t have to support her mother anyway! It’s supposed to be the other way around. As many turds have stated Ella resembles her father far more than she does the bleep. Elsie too. Btw mAlice, one of my daughters really does look just like me except for her hair color. You useless old trout.
This is one of the things I worry about for Ella. Alice clearly thinks modelling is easy money, but it's actually extremely hard work. Should Ella manage to get involved in that world, she's in for a massive shock.

Not only is it extremely hard work, but, if you can get an agency to represent you, which is the first big hurdle, for the first few years it's mostly unpaid work unless you go into catalog modeling, which is looked down upon in the high fashion world. You're expected to work for free, fending off creepy photographers and the like, in order to "build up your portfolio" while spending your time and money going to go-sees, eating nothing to keep your weight down, and, if you're "lucky" enough to be successful and get noticed, putting your education on hold and having to travel overseas alone to live in a tiny apartment with other models, doing the same thing over and over again while waiting for your really big break (which never comes for most people).
Ah but what if the plan is to get close enough to an opportunity to snare a rich man as a husband, rather than have a career?
Well the eldest is only 14 so it's a bit soon for that. I wonder if AE will push her towards being an actress? It's another hard career to hack unless you are very good looking/talented/well-connected or *cough cough* have a rich man to pay the bills and it's more of a hobby.

It looks like a trash compactor. In photos of the apartment, the dishwasher is to the left of this (which is the far right corner of the room). But yes, a cupboard door is missing.
TBF I’ve had strangers tell my kid and I that we look like twins (I’m obviously the much older twin). We look ALOT alike. Ella does look a little like that old photo of her mom as a kid. She’s kind of a mix of both parents. Elsie is the spitting image of Ioan though. Both girls are beautiful IMO.
