Alice has zero self control. She also seems to be very isolated- by her own doing. This Twitter behaviour is certainly not normal but it seems it’s how she socialises. So a new sock pops up, she ramps up the bullshit, etc. gets her power knowing she’s being talked about- negative attention is still attention to her. it’s sad all around.

Not posting much lately but read regularly and always enjoy this thread. There are some threads on Tattle that I dislike, but you lot are a sensible bunch!
I reckon the outcome of the custody hearing will come down to the view of Dr Dupee and the GAL. The judge with then be left weighing up all the evidence, and if the process he adopts is at all similar to the UK approach, it will come down to a balance of harm test being applied. Is the emotional harm to the children better or worse if they remain in Alice's care or removed from her? I really believe it will come down to which would be worse for them. I have seen PA in action in the UK and often the judge will cop out and say that it would do more harm to remove them and change custody than maintaining the status quo. There are a lot of factors at play, so I would love to hear your views on this.

We mentioned this many times before but UK and Cali are not comparable. For better or worse California judges insist very hard on joint custody, so much that they even try to mend relationships with very abusive parents (note, Loopy: Ioan is not one) and their kids, even if this particular one will get outlawed soon. If somebody will not have custody it will be Alice due to her DVRO, the assumption is against her having any custody, she will have to prove to the court that she has to have custody and when your sole argument is that you coerced your kids into trauma bonding with you it looks bad, I dont think this particular law even exists in the UK. Ioan will get custody, the question is just if it will be joint or sole (this is probably going to depend on the reports of GAL and evaluator). And obviously the question will be also how practicable is, but I suspect the court will stay involved until it is.
I'm one of the old timers who took an interest in IG again when I found out he dumped the old ball and chain. What people don't understand is that even when her life was quite enviable she was socking it on IMDB boards taunting IG's fans. She constantly changed her name but you could follow the name changes LOL. She was crowing about being the sole possessor of IG's 7" and how we were all fat, ugly and jealous of her. So in some ways, nothing has changed.
However, BW is now in sole possession of the 7" (though she doesn't crow about it as she has class) and AE is the fat, ugly, jealous one. Karma's a witch.
This whole tit show would be amusing if it wasn't for the fact that they made two kids who AE is now the sole possessor of and she is taunting IG with pics of them and withholding them from him, for revenge. Same behaviour, just different people. See below for example - it featured a pic of Elsie.

I found another old tweet. Talk about irony. IG knew the marriage was over at this point but AE is totally oblivious because she never does anything wrong, EVER. Only IG has faults.

I suspect "that thing" will be some criticism on her social media behavior or similar. It's not the affair IMO, I suspect the affair is "that one mistake" (Alice) "that we drew a line under" (Ioan) - it's the only thing that makes sense in context.
No need to remind me that UK and US are different in terms of law and procedure.
As I said, this will come down to Dr Dupee's evidence. The evidence will then be interpreted by the judge and the law will be applied. We do not differ here.
The law in the UK sets out the balance that has to be weighed up by the court. It is a list of factors, including emotional needs, harm suffered/likely harm and educational matters (and more). I am very interested in hearing about how the CA judge is likely to approach it. I have not given my prediction on the outcome of this case for this reason. I am curious, that's all. Ioan does have a very strong case. I wish I could be a fly on the wall in Dupee's office though.

Ioan has a very strong case agreed but Ella in particular is very damaged as this stage. She was deliberately kept out of school for a year so that no teacher could observe what is going on with her. Ella will be brand new at the new school so they won't have much info to give Dupee.
I'm very curious too. I will be disgusted if Alice gets anything more than supervised visits as there needs to be real penalties for the PA. How much weight will the Judge give to both kids saying they only want to stay with AE? It's one factor among many to consider but it's the only factor in AE's favour right now.
