2. I’m a serial organiser and it drives my husband crazy
Ugh me too. I love it but is also drives myself a bit crazy! Often I’ll completely empty a room just to reorganise it, sort out the drawers, relabel the folders in the office or find new ways to categorise the kitchen utensils etc. (Is this a hobby??)

Which was your favourite?
Germany for sure. Brunei was interesting and gave us loads of opportunity to travel around, but I just love Germany. Lived in 4 different places around Germany and all were lovely.

1. I have a very poor demeanour I am perceived as too serious or nervous even when I’m neither of those Which makes it hard to socially so I tend not to bother a lot of the time ( but enforced now by covid)
2. I have a really boring office job I hate and I’m Struggling to move on from it. I am 45 and age is against me now.
3. I had breast cancer 4 years ago but made a complete recovery and avoided having to have chemo so I was quite lucky really

🙋🏼‍♀️ Hi friend. I made the smallest mistake last week and internally catastrophised it so much, ended up having a panic attack at work whilst asking when my disciplinary will be. Was met with “Jesus Christ, how many times?! We all think you’re great, you’re fine, put your fishing rod away”. It’s like semi imposter syndrome? I know I can do my job, I know I’m good at my job, no one has ever told me I’m dangerous or doing it wrong, yet for some reason I don’t believe I should be here and I’m always one shift away from being told to leave and never return... Would love to know why these thoughts won’t leave us?!
Yes exactly this! I have had anxiety since childhood but it definitely got worse as an adult and particularly around work. I have spent whole days sat at my desk waiting for my boss to call me into his office to tell me I’m being sacked or demoted. Although everyone I work with knows I have anxiety, they don’t know how I feel about my work abilities.
On my better days, I feel proud that even though I wake up most days feeling like I can’t do it, I turn up and get the job done☺

1. I've got a phobia of eggs and moths :ROFLMAO:
2. I invest in handbags, albeit I've not been since lockdown as I do use them and don't have anywhere to go to use them so I'm reluctant to invest in more. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I love them.
3. My husband and I have been living in Dubai for almost 8 years. It's home for us and I see us living here forever.

I relate heavily to number 2! People think it’s ridiculous and a waste of money, but it’s what I invest in and what makes me happy. What’s your favourite handbag?

Me too! Some new and some vintage! Love the bloody things! How funny to find fellow bag lovers on the forums!
I'd love to hear both of your favourites! :)

1. I love my job and am really missing the fun of the office - I work with very clever, witty and kind people and seeing them over zoom is not the same.
2. I have lots of children and dogs and never sit down but dream of an empty house for a week so could just read, watch telly, cook and sleep. Without anyone asking me anything.
3. I have lived abroad and It made me value home and the Brits, and their tolerant humour, more than I ever dreamed possible. As a result I am intolerant of ppl who moan about the UK and wish they’d just shut up and piss off.

I have lots of handbags too! Love handbags, bras, and shoes.

I need to add a 4 and 5 after seeing other people's responses that I can resonate with.

4. I always check my ear buds, and my shoes for spiders before putting them on. I cannot blindly wear them without checking, I'll have a heart attack! Have I ever found a spider to validate this strange habit? No. Don't know why I do it 😄

5. Most people have a flight or fight instinct, I have a freeze instinct. When somebody says or does something I don't like, I don't defend myself. Later I kick myself for not saying this or that, and letting them get away with it. My mother in law does this the most to me. She's hurt me so many times and she keeps doing it because she knows I won't stand up for myself. The few times I've stood up to her, it was overkill because of all the other stuff I kept in. Then the family comforts and defends her, and I'm left looking like the bad guy. I hate it. If there's one thing I would change about myself it would be that.

I totally relate to point 5. You have described it so well. It's the constant digs that each time hurt but you let them go and then, finally, you snap and confront the person who's been carping at you for years and it's overkill. Everybody then thinks you're the crazy person. So unfair. Really feel for you.

People who enjoy hurting others do it calmly and with relish and mostly nobody notices or cares, when a normally quiet person erupts in fury it's "OMG what's wrong with her".

Thank you for understanding. It makes me feel relieved that one person gets it- even a stranger online because that's exactly the situation. I hate it and I don't know how to change it 😞

My favourite bag I own is a vintage Chanel lamb skin 2.55. I bought it from a consignment in Japan about 5 years ago. It’s from the early 80s and is in great condition! I also have my Mums LV Alma from the early 90s which is very dear to my heart.

I love Chanel, it’s a classic but I don’t love their price increases.

My favourite is the Chanel classic flap in medium (in caviar). The thought of lambskin scares me! Total basic bag, I know. But it’s such a classic. Don’t even get me started on Chanel price increases 😭

Side note - tattle needs a bag thread!! 👛👜

Chanel CF in medium is my fave! How about you? I love finding fellow bag lovers ♥👛

1. Moved to a city where I knew no one when I was 18, bought a house here now 8 years later :)

2. Big fan of researching cold cases (murder and missing people) and thinking of theories & discussing them with family members

3. Debating having a sperm donor to have a baby, due to past relationships I dont think I’d want to live with a man again, and can’t find a man I can tolerate speaking to for more than 5 days😂
