This is fun!
  1. I'm 45 and I had breast cancer at 38. I had a double mastectomy and to this day it ducks with my head. I don't feel sexy or beautiful anymore.
  2. I can make a clover leaf with my tongue.
  3. Five years ago my husband and I moved from Canada to Germany and at the end of next year or beginning of 2022 we are moving to France in our new house!

I'm 64
I love reading books about lone sailors conquering the wild oceans.
I don't like going on boats and a cruise would be my worst nightmare.

Hello!

1) I’ve got a split little toe nail which is so annoying

2) I don’t watch television (or Netflix etc) I watch the news for my job on my work laptop when I have to

3) I’m 50/50 torso/leg. So I look a decent height sat down but when I stand up I’m shorter than people expect

  1. I am a true night owl ... I prefer to sleep during the day and work during the night (which works fine as a freelancer) ... the night brings me comfort; the day makes me anxious
  2. I think I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to the internet
  3. I swear my ginger tabby is my grandmother reincarnated ... there are just so many things that he does that remind me of her

1- Found tattle in lockdown, I treat it like a dirty secret don’t let my husband see and delete all history no idea why 🤷🏼‍♀️
2- Had a baby in lockdown 💗
3- feel I live with guilt every day for bad decisions I made in my younger days, had a number of manipulative/abusive relationships and I kind of spiralled for awhile but now punish myself for this every day, going over everything. I get anxious talking to people or watching TV in case someone mentions something that triggers my guilt, wish could just accept and move on.

Aww congratulations on your new baby!
I understand how you feel in regards to guilt after being in bad relationships! It is extremely hard to ‘get over’ what happened because you never will! You learn to cope with what happened! Have you spoke to a therapist?

Thank you so much!! She’s brought me so so much happiness I can’t even begin to explain, but I start to feel I don’t deserve her!!
I had a few sessions with a councillor after I finally left but I feel I made bad choices after this and it’s the guilt from that I think, it’s the same feeling every day of being a bad person it’s tiring and just want to move past it now!!
Thanks for your kind words 💕

Ermm...

1. I had spinal surgery back in January for a herniated disc, and have now relapsed and am back at square one. Living life in a painkiller haze right now.
2. I'm 36 and have been with my husband since I was 18. We have 1 daughter, and a cat and rescue dog who hate each other. Dog is 4 times the size of the cat and petrified of her, after being walloped around the nose the first and only time they came face to face! :ROFLMAO: Dog lives downstairs, cat upstairs.
3. I was born in Australia, but my parents moved back to England when I was 5months old. Resented them a LOT for this in my teenage years (I was bullied at school, and became convinced it wouldn't have happened if we had stayed in Australia). Of course, I grew out of this, but it is my hope to visit there sometime even though I am petrified of flying.

I kind of understand how you feel! You do feel like you don’t deserve the life you have now because of how you was treated before! I still now 3 years after leaving an abuser struggle and sometimes question why my partner is with me. I used to constantly think I was a bad mum to my son as I let him witness abuse.
But talking to people helped me I also had CBT.
Please don’t let your past define your future you did the bravest thing and found a better life for yourself.

Thank you 💗 I think I will look into talking to someone about it because for a long time I keep thinking the thoughts will go away... and they haven’t yet !!
I’m so happy to hear you got out of your situation and your partner and your son are extremely lucky to have you in their lives x

Hopefully talking and the support of counselling will help you. I think anyone who has been through abuse will always have insecurities but it is how you deal with them. I always look at the positives of what I have in my life now and how far I have come.
Thank you! I used to write a blog to get thoughts etc out my head maybe that may help you. I hope you get the support you need and start to feel better.
You should realise how strong you are!
