I liked the Australian woman's room. How is Paper mache woman still in? She's done two terrible designs

I thought the Alice in Wonderland didn’t meet the brief at all and looked really gimmicky

I liked that Australian woman's room too.

I didn't like Duran's green headboard, I thought it looked cheap.

A lot of the painted furniture looked cheap esp the white ones . The Alice in Wonderland stuff was hideous.

I'd have sent the Alice in Wonderland or paper mache person home.

Defo paper mache woman should have gone, even just for being on the sofa 2 weeks in a row

I feel like I must have terrible taste because I thought the majority of the designs were pretty bad but Michelle and Linda loved them.
I’m annoyed that she didn’t say anything about the guy using AI. Any artistic who uses AI is in my bad books so I want him to leave asap.
I also feel and this may be controversial but if you are going to write something on the walls then you should have nice handwriting.

When they had the before and after reveal shots I thought almost all of them looked better before. Most of the revealed rooms looked cheap and tatty. Certainly not remotely romantic.

Jonni's Alice in Wonderland room looked like a DIY child's bedroom, so gimmicky and poorly executed, it reminded me of a themed charity shop window display done by an aged volunteer with failing eyesight.

Kate's room was so incredibly bland, but somehow they liked it? Framing the TV was absolutely heinous.

Duran's was questionable but she did have original ideas (the chandelier looked like a primary school project though) 😬

I was surprised by the decision to send the Australian woman home as her room had an original and interesting concept, it certainly wasn't the worst by any stretch!

Meanwhile, the morose Michelle looked like she had rolled through the Debenhams sale and just worn anything that stuck with a belt round it.

Alan had just rolled in the leftover paint from contestant's rooms and stuck a brooch on it, and that guest judge dressed all in silver like a piece of tinsel. No.

The hotel week ones annoy me as someone who used to work in a hotel. There's way too much stuff like Nik naks, cushions and hard to clean things that make these rooms a nightmare for housekeeping. I imagine alot of changes are made to all these rooms after the show.

Im glad im not the only one to think this. The one where someone made a chandelier with glasses and painted them pink, all I thought was that'll be a nightmare to dust.

Paper mache lady has to go! 🙄
i thought this as well .. especially after she started doing more paper mache stuff again. Also her room look bare and uninviting - even the colour choices were horrible. She chose cold tones.

agree with this. A hotel room doesnt need to be filled with stuff.. They need to be functional and the contestants start adding in all sorts of rit to "pretty their design up"... when in reality. Nik naks do not belong inside a hotel bedroom. Its like no one has ever stayed in a hotel room before.

Yes, have nice furniture, walls and curtains but not random cushions that no one ever washes.
It'd be interesting to know how much they redecorated/ how much the BBC paid the castle to let them use the rooms as basically an experiment.

I ALWAYS think this about the stuff. I call it all dust collectors. Fine in your own home but not in a hotel. Cushions like that freak me out in a hotel because you know they’ve not been cleaned like bedding. Just grim. And what was with all those books on the wall, stupid idea. Imagine the dust!
