I liked Teo’s but too and he has a graphic design background so it would have been good to see what else he produced given the chance. Papier mache is going to get old really quick and the other one is totally out of her depth. They need to stop with the ‘content creators’, they are always tit.

I like Emmerly (also she's the only non botoxed woman) but I agree, papier mache is going to get old, quickly. It was obvious that someone who brings in cladding for an already wooden wall to make a hut smaller was going to be going home, what a waste of time! Ajeet's was good I thought. I hope Ben doesn't talk about the royals every episode....

The only hut i liked was the lady who did the amalfi coast design - the rest i found either too bare or way too cluttered with rit. Paper mache lady - i liked some of the ideas but she went OTT with it.
Alan made me laugh a couple of times as well - usually i find the jokes a bit forced. Did anyone else think it was weird when Michelle and american man judge went to view the huts . Michelle dressed in autumn time clothes and a hat but he was in a t shirt and sunglasses !

It irks me that they obviously record the group bit at the start after the task is complete as they are all in the same clothes. The faux surprise when they are told the task is ridiculous

I like Duran's colour scheme and the archway, it definitely gave an illusion of depth to the hut and was probably my favourite. I also liked Frankie and Jonni's huts and didn't mind Ben and Ajeet's. Hated the zebra floor one and papier mache Emeley's island blocking the view, ambivalent about Teo's minimalism and Lia's Amalfi tribute. Kate opting to waste vast amounts of time cladding a wooden hut with more wood was so ridiculous I can't believe she wasn't the first out.

The paper mache also looks like something my nieces and nephews would produce in primary school. How on earth does she make a living with that?

Watched the first episode of the new series tonight, forgot how random Michelle's comments can be. Stapling plastic leaves to the ceiling should have been a red flag for her sustainability brief if Taos was too much new stuff. Even my kids said Emily's kitchen island at the front was a bad idea, not sure how she didn't see that.
Michelle is always infuriatingly random and inconsistent. The plastic leaves would be a nightmare to keep clean and would harbour bugs and flies.
That idiot putting wooden cladding on.... wood should've been out first. She reduced the space by quite a lot.
Poor Tao - I think paper mache and dirty sea water lady was kept in purely for entertainment value. The kitchen island was beyond stupid.
The influencer woman popped up as a suggestion on my Instagram, probably because I follow Banjo who I love. My god, how on earth do these people think they have the skills to become interior designers when they paint a bit of IKEA Billy? I have a family member who works in this area designing bars and restaurants. It’s a lot of training on CAD systems, long hours and teamwork.
The ones who have been successful since were already working in a related area or doing it anyway, like Nicky from one of the early series.

Yeah the wood cladding was a complete waste of time and resources. Would have been better used in a space that needed texture or to hide a crumbly wall that they wouldn't have time to replaster!
Michelle always seems spaced out to me, like she's dosed up to the eyeballs. I'm waiting for her to drop her classic rant about "foilage" whilst she tries to avoid Alan who she clearly cannot stand.
Some of the guest judges they have are absolute creatures as well! They're like characters from Ab Fab.
I wonder if they will wheel out HRH Queen of Greige the horrid harpy that is Kelly Hoppen this series, or if she's still drunkenly rolling that giant moss ball across London?
