I think the star rating of a hotel is based on things like having coffee making facilities and an iron in the room. Michelle said she wanted somewhere to do her make-up. I don't think anyone had a mirror.

Anyone watching tonight? I missed the first half, but watching now. I like Dara O’Briain - he always seems like a decent sort

Don’t agree with the second couple to go through. Thought it was a bit dull.

Those wavy lines all over the place most of them did 😩 Absolutely hate them and they look so naff.

I really liked Ajeet and Emmely's room. I would have sent Leah and Ben? home, the desks in the middle was a good idea but the cork wall, waiting area and spotty desk looked a bit rubbish.

I loved the couple who got sent home's design.

A bit like last week where I thought they sent the wrong person home.

The finishing on so many of these rooms is diabolical, I'd give it a week before stuff started peeling off, wearing away, falling down.

The art room was fun but for the love of god can she please stop making random tit with paper mache?

The office room was ok but a lot of it wasn't great on closer inspection. Those drawers absolutely did not need vinyl spots stuck all over them.

The room which had to be six different things was a nightmare to work with, they absolutely did the best they could, it's like whoever was given that space was set up to fail. However I did think choosing beige pull out mattress bed things for people who are coming in off the street was a bad choice, they'd get filthy pretty quickly.

I did agree on the winning room, it was well designed and aesthetically pleasing though I'm not sure how long those chipboard shelves will last!

Michelle is so morose this season it's like someone forgot to put in her batteries. If I was Sophie Robinson (who was in her pyjamas) I'd have turned down the judge spot and just stayed in bed.

I'd love to see Michelle design and execute a stunning room design - I'd put money on the fact she would fail miserably!

i think the team who were assigned the wellness room were destined to fail from the start - 6 ideas into one tiny space? It was never going to work and i feel sorry for Kate ( and whoever else it was) . It felt like a trap and that Michelle new full well that the team who got this room would struggle.

Re paper mache woman. There was a lot of eye rolling going on when she started making more paper mache creations. I mean FFS.. can she not do anything else? I also felt like the pencils were a bit childish (although i liked the idea of hanging aprons up ).

I felt sorry for the pair who designed the wellness room as well. It was an impossible brief, in an awkward space, and I thought they did really well to try to include everything. And it was all moveable and the space could easily have been transformed, into anything.

I disliked the room with the wall divider and motto painted on the wall. The motto was a good idea but the rest of the room just looked cheap and nasty, and I had no idea of the point of the shelving and badly painted blue line on everything!

I wonder how much of this decoration will be left in the homeless charity premises?

Yeah I was surprised that they liked that room. Their seating looked just as cheap and nasty as the office room yet they loved one and hated on the other. Also the colour scheme didn't feel very...professional? And it felt quite feminine, too. Also the art was blah. I thought that the mezzanine was really quite well thought out, and they should have been recognised for their efforts , and using the client artwork was also lovely.

Agree with what you’re all saying but I’m just relieved Ajeet got through, he’s definitely my favourite and I was worried when he got paired with the paper mache queen.

Oh guys, I'm struggling with this season. Totally agree about Michelle, I normally love her approach (not always her decisions mind!) and absolute refusal to do dramatic exits or pauses when she sends someone home, but this year she seems low. And none of the contestants are grabbing me.

I agree, that big room was a curse and they did well with the brief.

Seems a little off that Emily got the art room and then won, especially after using paper mache again. It wasn't really designer growth like Michelle said it was Emily getting a brief that was basically what her job is.

They need to increase the budgets for the larger rooms, the finishes are always awful and cheapy cheap cheap. How is the charity expected to work in that moving forwards, most items were practically falling apart already

I think this was the first time that what she made was actually relevant and worked well in the space. I really liked that room!

The room was good but I don't think it was a challenge for her the same way it was for the other contestants.

WTF is going on with who’s going home. I do think the colours (although too many) were the best in the wellness space. That lad had won stand out space. Jesus mother and Mary, Michelle is void of all personality and it’s like she wants the weird one to win each series so she has something about her. Would not be surprised if paper mache wins 🙄

I really thought papier mache lady was going when this week's episode started - the gingery one that loves all things animal print as her "signature style" knew that that wouldn't be appropriate to the space this week and didn't use it. So surely Emmerly needs to give the papier mache a rest rather than shoehorning it in - if she uses it next week surely she's a gonner. It's not like the winner's range at Next is going to be papier mache lampshades and bed spreads for the masses....
