The Blue Tick Clusterfuck Appreciation Society is a puzzle. Maybe they know something we don’t (yet). Either way, in my personal opinion, he is a nasty fucker given his proven record. Why she chooses to ignore it all is one of those mysteries i will never understand.

why are so many people supporting her without questioning what’s happened, I realise she hasn’t committed any offence, but to stand by her man,after this?I imagine shes been told/asked not to say anything at all so that the trial isn’t prejudiced.

Mumsnet's line is that it's an ongoing court case. I suspect a friend has called in a favour with Justine et al, those social circles are smaller than we think
I had to look up what is happening (I don't live in the UK) and holy moly that guy has a history of what can only be described problems with violence, not a guy I could feel safe with. The latest scandal is really bad, apparently (from wikipedia) he was charged almost 2 years ago, I wonder how she can support something like that.
If she wasn’t so sanctimonious and judgemental about others I might feel a bit sorry for IK.
Makes you wonder where her line in the sand is for sticking her neck out for the bad guy. Abusing a position of trust (the affair with the 17yr old), violence (against two young teen boys) and now this.
Plus of course his treasure trove of other offences (various assaults, drink driving, fiddling expenses etc). Also, does he actually have a job or is she also subsidising him? Bet he is ‘writing a book’.

I bought The Times today - she’s moved from the mag to the paper for her column. Think even she doesn’t have the brass neck to preach lifestyle advice while this is going on.
It’s disgusting isn’t it! Just another show of her privilege because if it was someone from a more hard up background I doubt they would get the same support!
Her 'comeback' tweet ("...whatever happened happened nearly two years ago. It was horrible for it to become public last week, but I have had two years’ worth of incredible help and support...") muddies things a bit for me, because before that, I thought there was a chance she was blindsided and he'd somehow kept this from her - I know that seems impossible but I thought there was no way she would engage in threatening behaviour online with him (see timeline below) when he had this hanging over him, knowing it would be coming out - you'd make some efforts to keep a low profile, surely?

Oct 2019: After Sali Hughes posts her video about "trolling", India publicly asks her if she knows where Tattlers live because Eric wants to go round and sort them out - so she was definitely still with him then, a year after the arrest.
11 June 2020: News of his arrest finally comes out. IK tweets something benign, kind of acknowledging it but not giving much away (since deleted so I can't remember specifically what she said).
19 June 2020: IK twitter comeback. Her and Eric still follow each other and it doesn't *seem* like she's left him.
Whether he is guilty or not remains to be seen, but a) she has known about this from the beginning and b) it appears they are still together. There's only a small number of different conclusions to draw from that imo.
