It’s another conversation where she has heard what she thinks someone is saying and not what they have actually said, exactly like with Fred.

She’s so wrapped up in herself she thinks everyone else is only thinking about her and can’t comprehend their views aren’t about her personally. Fred doesn’t want to be her dad and Nigel doesn’t want to kick all black people out of the U.K.
Next thread title plz 😂😂😂😂

Yes and he also wasn’t saying that if your parents or grandparents were immigrants he thinks you should be kicked out of the country which was what Nella was implying.

This is exactly what happens when your key developmental years were spent sitting in a room and talking to a camera all day, without having to listen to anybody else.

Covid teenagers are tit to deal with because of this.

Looking at other clips from I’m a celeb this year Nella was kind of rude to Ant and Dec at one of the trials the way she answers back and is condescending. Then there’s her speaking horribly to Fred and having a go at him when he did nothing wrong. Whether you agree with Nigels views or not , the way Nella gets in someone’s face when talking to them and gets really loud not letting the other person speak or finish their sentence is very rude of her to do that it actually comes across aggressive at times. She loves the sound of her own voice and thinks she’s always right. She needs to be in therapy and around people who will give her a wake up call because she’s hard work to be around if she can’t communicate with people and calm down.

Did I read correctly on the BBC profile that she left Radio 1 Xtra for 'personal reasons'? Wonder if that was an incident similar to what we have witnessed in already in such a short time.

Nella thinks there is more value in her voice being heard than listening to others. It seems like talking to a brick wall.
‘I’m not listening to you because I think what you’re saying will scare me.’ Why even bother starting the conversation in the first place. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I risk getting myself cancelled here, but i think Nigel is only saying that this tiny island of ours can only take so many people. Our infrastructure is creaking. We have a housing crisis. Our NHS is stretched beyond help. There's an unemployment issue etc. I actually don't think he's racist. He's saying our country is on its knees and needs to take control of it's borders. The more people we take in in an uncontrolled way, the more we have to support them. If you go to Australia you have to have x dollars in the bank, a job or skills you can offer the country, medical insurance etc. They won't take you over a certain age! Australia is known for sending illegal immigrants straight back without housing them at all. We provide accommodation, immediate nhs care, money.
The more people we welcome the more the population will grow (when they have children etc). We are literally a teeny tiny country - how can it go on unmanaged?
I think that's why he was saying 'just think about it' to her but Nella was just hysterical and screaming in his face.
Should i see myself out? 🙈😅
But changing immigration laws won’t change any of that. Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Romania & Poland have higher rates of immigration than the UK. The NHS & our social housing has been purposely underfunded by the government for decades (labour too). We spend some of the least per capita on healthcare in comparison to other Western European nations, & also take less immigrants? So what’s the correlation. Yet the government have billions spare to write off in dodgy Covid deals (that have often made either their friends, business partners or families money). People like the current government & Nigel use diversion tactics, blame the immigrants & the poor so you’ll vote against your own interests. Yet the data & statistics don’t match the lies they peddle. They rely on populists policies that fail, and the lack of critical thinking skills that plagues the masses. It’s so transparent it’s laughable.

Also Australia has a housing crisis too. Clearly aren’t sending enough immigrants back 🙄

I don't think it is Covid the talking to devices thing was happening way before Covid, I think it is the fact that so many parents just shove kids in front of devices instead of using something like a toy, activity boards or books to entertain them. Teenagers and some young adults were raised that way. It is getting worse too, you go shopping and you see young toddlers in the trolley watching YouTube videos, you go to a restaurant and end up sat opposite some family where both kids are on tablets or the parents phones while the parents talk to each other and ignore the kid's, sit in a doctors waiting room and you have to listen to bloody CocoMelon on repeat because some mum doesn't want to actually talk to her child. Also, ask any College Tutor or Secondary School teacher and they will probably tell you that they spend all day telling students to get off their phones and do work. They don't know how to be bored or wait while others finish because when they were little it was "I'm bored" then a tablet or a phone got shoved in their face.

Can we go back to hating nasty Nella rather than discussing immigration policies? I’m happy to do both but feel some people may disappear if it continues 🥹

ps congrats everyone on keeping things civil and polite, it’s nice to see people being honest and courteous to each other 😛
pps I’m a Tory

Nigel walked off with a spring in his step like Nella hadn’t just been screaming in his face over what she said was a “debate” - if roles were reversed. Nige is such an interesting human to observe. He really is so unbothered it’s WILD.
Yes it is quite fascinating. He literally does not give one tit about anything anyone says.

This is the first year where I've thought the show doesn't need daily presenters like Ant n Dec, they should just appear for the evictions.

And I think this is why alot of people voted to leave. I did. I'll say I did. And was for a purpose of some control like Australia etc. Not because I'm racist or EDL types who want everyone out.

Anywho. 🤣
I didn’t vote - I was away from home (though I could have arranged to postal vote with planning) and had mixed feeling for both leave and remain. Leave, as I am not a fan of the EU, especially the disdain they have seemed to show the UK in latter years, but mainly because I like localised governing - and to be fair this how most people like to be governed. Remain as I feared ruthless employers would take advantage of employment rights - but then what population let’s their own government off with tit like that?
I think there are pros and cons for either position. I do find it ironic that many will label leavers as right wing - when most socialists (proper ones) don’t support the European Union.
I just don’t think it’s as straightforward as Nella and co thing it is.

Little bit of a tangent but it reminded me as Nella going off at Fred for an innocuous comment.

Someone was talking about Whataboutism on TikTok and gave the example of talking about bean soup and the comments all said things like “but I don’t like beans?” And in the very same comments post another comment posted about finding something that everyone agrees on and they said “chocolate is better than war” and a comment said “what if you don’t like chocolate. I’m allergic”

Influencers and people who live their lives entirely online have their brains so rotted by people sucking up to them that they cannot just ignore something that isn’t for them, the are incapable of ignoring it. They just have to kick up a fuss that it’s not for them because they think everything should be.

it reminded me of how she went off at Fred and Nigel. If someone in her Instagram or YouTube mentioned a parent or she met someone who had different political views, her fans would shoot them down in seconds… she’s not online so she can’t police what she’s exposed to and can’t react like a normal person because she’s so used to SoMe pandering to her.

IRL people will use phrases that may upset you. She should handle it privately like an adult. If you meet someone with diff political views and you HAVE to be in proximity to them, either civilly disagree or make a joke of it or something, don’t screech at them.
