God I had a look at that thread again and forgot those girls/women commenting were really quite unhinged and obsessive over him. I think when I first read it I was shocked about what they knew, but what stands out now is how he was cultivating these inappropriate relationships with fans. Although, reading it, I think woman A and Joanne are both in that thread, probably with multiple socks. It sounds like every woman he was linked to was probably being harassed by a group of core obsessive fans

I think there's also the 'bystander effect' in all of this - as in, 'with so many women wanting him, how could he be wrong?'
I think it was probably a big part of how they justified what he was asking of them. The idea that he can't really be a monster if so many women are interested - that he must be liked for a reason, that if he was truly evil surely everyone would see it, etc. And he played that up by flittering his attention around between them and driving up that jealousy constantly. Joanne I think is the biggest case of this obsession-by-denial. I personally think she's still very much under his spell, even now.
Shannon Matthews is the only victim I can think of who was given a new identity after such a huge case.

If the child stayed with the grandparents and the “mother” is now out I guess it means she would be in their lives…
If that was my child, she would not be in my life. I would not stop loving the child I raised but my priority would be my grandchild's well-being and not the adult who caused so much damage.

The grandmother isn’t hard to find on facebook if you know the mother’s name. They don’t have the boy on their social media but they’ve also not locked down properly either which is mental. On her timeline earlier this year she posted “god bless (mother A name)” with a little animated person holding a birthday cake.
So she’s publicly acknowledging her birthday on her not particularly locked down facebook. Doesn’t seem particularly wise.
The lad will be 14 now. I don’t imagine she’ll be allowed contact with him as part of her parole

That’s so worrying! How on earth can the grandmother allow that woman to be part of any of their lives. (Is it the boy’s grandmother or the grandmother of the accused?). Also I would hope she would be banned legally from seeing her son but I doubt that is the case sadly.

No I think that was the other girl. I may have jumped the gun on that one now that I lined up the dates
. The daughter has a similar first name to someone particularly famous who was publicly going through a hard time and I think granny was saying god bless to the more famous person
I assume they'll have been family court proceedings as well, and there might be an order prohibiting contact between mother and child.
Those guards are messed up
I’ve just been on her Twitter and in Dec 2013 she posted an article in the DM about “a fan in her 20s” who IW begged to abuse her 10 year old daughter and offered to DJ at her party if he could sleep with her. Further down the article it matches JM’s story (meeting and asking for tickets etc) and refers to her as Ms Majic at the end of the article.
Again, her story makes no sense - she says they exchanged texts in 2010 where he said to get her pregnant to abuse the baby and in 2011 he said awful things about wanting to abuse her daughter?? If this true - why didn’t she stop speaking to him in 2010 once he mentioned getting her pregnant and shop him in then?
She knew what he was and went along with it.
