Exactly.You can’t change who you’re attracted to but you can choose whether you grape them or not. Attraction isn’t action. Many don’t realise the difference as no conversations other than ‘kill the onces’ are said which, is obviously not working. Imagine we had a system in place that assisted potential offenders that can hold their hands up and state, ‘I’m having sexual thoughts about children, I’m addicted to pornography and I’m looking at things that disturb me, I’m worried about my thoughts, I worry I'm going to offend, help me’ We don’t! ‘They have to be caught doing it first’ - but what if they don’t?

We refer people at risk of being radicalised to Prevent (which isn’t perfect but is “something”) we don’t wait for them to do a terror attack first.
