How often do you get a takeaway?

Usually once a week, on a Saturday and most often a Chinese takeaway. Do like Indian but it's more expensive and H doesn't like it as much. Kids would have pizza every time and I do like pizza but would still rather have Chinese. Rarely have a chippy, H moans about how greasy they are and kids aren't that keen. I love chippy chips though so it's something I'd have if I was on a night out or at home alone for a night.

Ehhh.. I try to limit it to the weekends but sometimes after working from 9am - 8pm, writing code all day and forgetting to eat.. I just get lazy and order dinner. Sometimes if I know I'll have meetings in the evening, I'll order lunch from deliveroo lmao.

If I do order during the week though, I do try and only order something 'healthy' like sushi or poké bowl. Saturday is always my pizza night haha.

Once a week on average. Sometimes we can have it 2/3 times one week😳 and then not have it for a couple of weeks. But often we have take away on a Friday.

Used to be weekly but now I'm cutting down to a couple of times a month at most as it seemed to be giving me bad skin problems. I'm sensitive to too much greasy food, apparently.

Sometimes can be three times a week! Or even more!

I haven't had one in three weeks though, be a month this weekend and I'm pretty proud!!! :ROFLMAO: I could just eat (lol) a pizza and chips and tub of garlic. Plus where I am from the chips are the best chips about! 😂

I rarely get a takeaway, it always ends up being expensive and I think never worth it, the taste isn’t that great!

Then I feel sluggish and bloated for the whole next day 🤢

Used to be every 2 months but now it’s at least once a week. Partly because my partner has moved in, mostly because lockdown seemed to give me permission in my head to drink like a fish and eat for England! I’m over that misplaced sense of entitlement now but I’m struggling with what to cook that my partner and I will both eat: he likes plain, beige junk food and I don’t. Dishes that he seemed to find OK are slowly being ruled out (too spicy, he doesn’t like the ingredients or the texture, tomatoes give him heartburn etc.) and I’m starting to get resentful of putting the effort in. Sorry - that was slightly off topic, perhaps I need to search for a more appropriate thread...

Probably less than once a month. My son, who is now at Uni, loves pizza. When he is at home, he orders from our local pizza delivery place. He is expert at getting all the deals. He and his dad eat the pizza, garlic bread and chicken wings and I adore the marmite whirls!
They normally eat pizza for breakfast the next day!

Once a week, lockdown given us the excuse. To be honest, it could be more but we are lucky that we have a MS near us. With just 5 min walk, we can get a good deal from MS, 50% cheaper and nicer

Far too often, it’s just too easy with Just Eat and Uber Eats. We did no takeaway January this year which seems like a life time ago. At the start of lockdown we weren’t too bad but it drastically got worse. We’ve not ordered one in over 2 weeks now, which is a miracle for us. I’m aiming not to have one until my Christmas Eve Chinese.

I don’t even enjoy them all of the time it’s just the convenience when you’ve had a rubbish day and are knackered. We‘re both key workers and have been run ragged this year. I recently started getting Gousto boxes, they are expensive for what they are but the meals are super tasty and I do try and get the meals which take less time to cook.

Most weeks on a Friday or Saturday we get a Chinese takeaway. I do all the cooking so it's a nice break!
