How often do you get a takeaway?

Used to be several times a week, now it’s usually only if I have a 50% off Uber code 😂 I really resent paying the service charges and other add-ons which usually cost the same as one of the meals. Then they ask for a 10% tip and I can’t justify spending £20+ for £14 worth of food.

The Uber Eats delivery charges are ridiculous! Mcdonalds 3.99!! Luckily it's only 1.99 on Just Eat 😱 that 2 quid goes a long way 😂

I might order one tonight . It’s the same old Chinese and Indian though. There’s 4 of us so can work out pricy . Last time I spent £60 !!! That’s a food shop . I don’t like pizza which inconveniently is the cheapest as there’s often BOGOFS

About once every two to three weeks these days. Recently I lived in a rural area for two years that had NO food delivery options, so when I moved to a different country in September I was overwhelmed at the sheer number and selection of places that deliver to my house. I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! Got deliveries every day for a week upon moving in.

Oft when the baby was born last year, far too many 🤦 We also got into a weekly Tuesday habit with Two Tuesdays at Domino's for a while as not many companies deliver where we are. Also partial to a Saturday night chippy now and again. Strangely I prefer an Indian takeaway in the summer. There's just something about sitting at our dining table, enjoying the evening sunshine with an excellent curry and ice cold beer.

Food feels like one of the few pleasures during lockdown so we do over indulge. But our waistlines and bank balance are starting to complain so time to cut back. Baby also starts weaning soon and I'm sure you can't blend a pizza for a 6 month old.
