There’s full details in the LA Times today, here’s some highlights:

“Because of COVID-19 safety protocols, Gutierrez Reed set up three prop guns on a cart outside Bonanza Creek Ranch’s church set, the focus of the search warrant. Halls did not know live rounds were in the gun that he handed to Baldwin, and Halls yelled “cold gun,” according to the affidavit.”

“Souza told the detective that cast and crew had been preparing for the scene before lunch but then took a meal break away from the rehearsal area around 12:30 p.m. When they returned, Souza said, he wasn’t sure whether the gun was checked again. He also addressed the possibility of cast or crew members bringing onto the set live ammunition and live rounds, which can include potentially dangerous blanks”

“When they came back from lunch, a creeping shadow prompted the camera to be moved to a different angle, Russell told the detective. As Baldwin was explaining how he was going to draw his gun and where his arm would be positioned, it discharged, Russell said.”

“Souza said he was looking over Hutchins’ shoulder when the gun discharged. Hutchins grabbed her midsection, stumbled backward and was assisted to the ground, Souza told the detective.”

“Russell recalled hearing a loud bang, seeing a bloody Souza and hearing Hutchins say she couldn’t feel her legs, the affidavit said.”

Except his daughter has a prime time cooking show on cbbc. I wonder if shed have got that if she was Tilly Smith? There were 3 series of Junior Bakeoff they could have chosen from if they wanted a kids cooking show presented by kids!
He said he wouldn't give them any of his money, not that he wouldn't use nepotism to get them earning their own $$$. Tilly is definitely the most tv focused out of his kids - she is earning big money on Tiktok too. Her videos get millions of views.

He preaches it but I do think he'll leave them with some millions. There's no way he wouldnt - they probably all have trust fund access when they're 21!

Love this insider knowledge so much, thank you for posting it!
Out of interest when you did see I like and Henry reset oldest, what were they doing where are they going? to the park ? Or did it look like or something else?
Thought the woe-is-me pap walk was very odd yesterday that they did. Especially as she was actually with the kids , The nannies were shown for the first time, possibly in an effort to seem ‘more normal’, even though 5 nannies is clearly not in any way normal 😂
Sorry, I don’t understand the first part that you wrote?

I was surprised to see the nannies in the paparazzi photos yesterday as well. They work with the paparazzi a lot but the nannies usually never appear in any photos.

I wonder what the need to have blanks in a prop gun was? I don't know much about acting but I don't think a gun being used for a prop needs to be loaded at all.

Her social media - the Spanishness is creeping back in. We are all human. I think most of us have pretended to be other than we really are at some point. This is on another level. Deluded and creepy.
I think this - every time she posts something in Spanish I want to scream at her! She’s mental lol

Omg just watched this. It is SO bizarre? Either he didn’t know or was in on the whole lie. She doesn’t even sound Spanish to me, she sounds like an American affecting a generic foreign “exotic” accent. The clip where she asks her daughter to compare skin colour - what the fuckkkkk!

I definitely found this when I lived in NZ too. There is far more interest in ethnic origin and ancestry DNA kits etc than I think there is in the U.K.
Maybe it's to do with being an indigenous vs a non indigenous population? If you are white American, Australian or New Zealander, your ancestry is European, so you may have more of an interest whereas if you are white European you assume you are white European/ British unless there is proof otherwise. All of the people I know who are interested in their ethnic backgrounds going back centuries are people from my ethnicity which is a mishmash of Southern European and Asian or Jewish people who were from other European countries but were expelled at various times in their history.

Omg I just listened - how fucking cringe!

Also, I’d have thought one of the reasons she had the surrogate get pregnant when she did was so she was still nursing and had milk for Luuuccchia. Why is she now complaining about feeding two when it was LITERALLY HER CHOICE!!
You mean it's not LOOOOOOOOOTTTTTHHHHHHHHHIAAAAAA?

It’s a bit odd in though as most NZ Europeans are British/Irish descent. It’s not a hugely diverse group and it’s a young enough country that most people will know about their heritage already by their surname etc

She’s not changed races but I do think she’s being really offensive- Mexicans/ Brazilians etc are not Spanish, their countries were colonised by the Spanish. That’s like saying Indians or Ugandans are British like me. As to whether Americans realise Spanish people are ethically white, I suppose their neighbours (who were there first) are black and brown South American’s who speak Spanish, so I suppose thinking of them when someone refers to Spanish before a small European country is quite logical

Interesting our own perceptions, i've never considered the above Europeans as not being white, some may have olive skin but still have the features of Caucasian and they do consider themselves white (and can differentiate and still be just as racist to non white people!). Afro Caribbeans and South Indians can have the same shade of dark brown skin but south Indians are not called black.

anyway Hilaria is a crazy woman!
I think it just shows how reductive it all is. For example, East Asia. Whether you’re Japanese, Chinese, Korean - three distinct nationalities with their own clearly different cultures right there - or any other - people get labelled as Asian yet there are probably hundreds of ethnic groups making up this homogenous group of “Asian” people.

From what I’ve read about the incident so far, lots of people are assuming he was essentially aiming the gun at the camera for a ‘down the barrel’ shot. Is it possible that Hutchins and Souza were stood too close to the camera when it happened? Maybe they were stood next to the camera during a rehearsal walking Baldwin through the shot, told him to do as he would in the actual scene because they didn’t see a risk to it assuming the gun was empty and that’s how 2 people were shot. Maybe there was something obstructing Baldwins view and he didn’t realise they were in firing range. There are so many scenarios which we probably haven’t even thought about that could’ve happened.
I’ve been reading up on what happened to Brandon Lee on The Crow because I was fuzzy on the details- the firearm specialist was sent home early, the crew had made their own makeshift blanks to cut corners but didn’t remove everything causing a casing to get stuck in the barrel which then became a projectile when actor Michael_Massee
Got cut off- to continue…
… shot the gun. Lee then fell backwards rather than forwards as he was supposed to for the scene alerting everyone to the fact that something was wrong and the director cut filming.
I’m sure that just like the investigation into what happened on The Crow, there will be one for the events on this film and one day we will know exactly what happened here. There’s just lots of assuming going on and it’s very clear that a lot of people do not understand what it’s like to be on a film set. When an actor is told to do something by the director they do it- they trust that everything is safe and that the people working behind the camera know what they are doing. Sometimes they film the rehearsal so there may actually be footage of what happened whether it was rehearsal or a take. I have a feeling the armourer will get most of the responsibility because they are supposed to be the experts, and the woman in charge on the film has been reported as young, inexperienced and kept trying to get her expert father to help her. Sounds like they should have hired her father and not her.

I'm only discovering the reddit sub on this subject. Interesting. Looks like a few members became gung-ho and have doxxed the surrogate, bit of controversy around it as she may have doxxed herself. Bit shit.
