Not a murderer but I went to school with a guy who I fancied the pants off, he was the class bad boy as far as he would always be in detention for bunking off or being sarky. We became friends when we were about 14 and would hang out now and then. I didn’t see him for a bit when we left school and I’d heard he had dabbled in some weed and stuff but nothing serious. I met up with him aged 19, he raped me and I reported it to the police. They didn’t want to do much. I’d see him now and then in town and he would smirk at me. Several years later he got banged up for going on a Coke spree, raping his then gf and her mum and then driving away in a car that wasn’t his. All of a sudden the police were all over me wanting statements etc. I declined as I had gotten through it and didn’t want to drag it up again. Selfish maybe but they didn’t want to know the first time.

Yes a lad in my year at school, his mum is a lovely lady and used to walk her two boys to school with my mum and us back in the 90's when we were little then about 6 years ago I saw the guy my old classmate in our town off his head on monkey dust and the police had been called I was shocked as knew how much his mum doted on those boys, a few months later our local evening paper was delivered and on the front page was the news that a local woman had been beaten in her own home late at night by her youngest son because she wouldn't give him money he then went upstairs and murdered his older brother to punish her for saying no, totally senseless and deeply upsetting I can't bare now to look at my end of school group photos as he's on them.

I went to school with a guy who murdered a heavily pregnant girl and her little dog about 10yrs ago now. It was national news for a long time. It happened across the road from where my grandmother lived. He was convicted for child destruction as the baby was perfectly formed, named and was nearly due to be born till he murdered them. One of the most evil things I've ever heard in my life.

When I was a child I lived a few doors up from a large family of boys. All nice lads, we used to hang out & play games etc. The oldest son turned out to be a murderer when he grew up. He strangled his girlfriend. Shocked was not the word when I found out.

I once lived in a street where a man was in a relationship with a woman. He started an affair with her sister and then the girlfriend ended up murdered. We believe the sister helped murder her own sister.

I knew a boy who plotted revenge on his lovers ex on millennium eve... they drove around to the street to 'get him', to a house opposite where my auntie lives...and petrol bombed what they thought was his house. It was the wrong house and they nearly killed an innocent man sleeping in his bed. Will never forget my aunties neighbour pounding on our door, in the middle of our party to tell her!

Worst of all I used to work closely with a man in a large industrial company. He was very creepy and always made inappropriate comments. Being young I used to laugh it off. He always used to offer all the girls a lift home after nights out drinking. I always refused... Turns out I was right to refuse as a few years later he was arrested for kidnapping and raping a woman in his works van. He fully intended to kill her it transpired. He had a fully fledged murder kit in his van.

I was also once good friends with a lad who I drifted apart from when he went off the rails on alcohol and drugs. Over the years he committed a number of violent crimes, but the worst was where he beat his girlfriend so badly in a tent in the middle of a field, he nearly killed her. Her injuries were like a car crash victims. She was on life support for weeks. That one didn't surprise me as I felt he had the evil in him.

I went to college with a guy who was a bit of a mums boy, bit weird but seemed harmless and friendly. Turns out a few years later he was convicted of downloading child pornography. Not a murderer I know but equally as shocking to me.

I'm pretty sure I could name more events but I'd be here all night!
You know what all these people have in common.....YOU!

I'd be super scared to live near you!!!

No, surprisingly given the estate I come from. But my dad worked with a man (also from the estate) after he'd been released after serving time for killing his girlfriend when he was a teenager. He's a family man now. Claims he can't really remember anything about what happened. She was making fun of him and he picked up a brick and battered her with it.

My dad used to pick him up in the mornings and would forget sometimes 😳 so said murderer would ring the house and I'd usually answer.

Oh, just remembered there was a lad from the year below me who got done for manslaughter not long after leaving school. He and an older guy, who was the ringleader, drowned a guy in the bath. Drink and drug related I think. He continued to be in trouble after being released and is dead now.

I'm fascinated by murder and I was thinking of setting up a thread to discuss the trials I follow/Facebook stalking I do 😂 Would anyone be interested?

No but I worked with a guy who got done for having child pornography. What was worse was when the police watched the footage, they recognised some of where it had been filmed was in his own house and one of his grandchildren was in it. He’s in prison now.

Yes! A guy I went to school with murdered an old man he befriended, had a gay relationship, married, isolated him from his friends and then he abused him before killing him. He was a university lecturer, quite wealthy and I believe it's thought the guy I went to school with knew early on he planned to murder for money.
Quite a sad story.

2 of my teachers have been convicted for child pornography and an inappropriate relationship/sexual assult with a child. One of their students was also convicted for multiple pornography/sexual offences with children too. It's scary because this guy was children's entertainer/babysitter on cruise ships there's fear he hurt more than those who came forward and reported him. Cruise ship guy was a lot like Chris Ingham, a Peter pan character who thought they were gods gift.

Back when I was 20 I dated a guy who was friends with someone called Stephen Port. Whenever he was around he always used to give me the creeps.
Skip forward a few years and I’m single, talking to people on a dating app. One night I can’t sleep and I’m horny and up pops Stephen. Asking if I want to go around to his for a hook up.
Bare in mind he gave me the creeps, and was really nothing to look at, so I politely said thanks, but no thanks.
A year later he’s been arrested for killing at least 3 guys. He was the Grindr Serial Killer from Barking, East London.
It sounds bad, but me being shallow probably saved my life. If he were better looking I would have gone to his place that night

My friends sister killed a girl her age because she wanted to know what it felt like 😧 she didn’t even really try to cover it up. As far as I know she’s still in prison (this was over ten years ago)

These stories are so wild. I'm morbidly curious and slightly paranoid about how close we are to people who turn out to be murderers, yet have no idea.

One of the guys I went to school with (5 years ago now) got charged with murder after confronting and killing a man who abused/raped his girlfriend - there was a huge uproar at the time as the guys defence was he didn't go to kill but to confront and things spiralled, the rapist fell and hit his head on the edge of a wall or something when the guy punched him. It was proven the rapist did in fact rape the guys girlfriend but he was still charged and is still in prison. The girlfriend has stood by him all these years too, she's vocal about waiting for him to come out and resume their life etc. Very hard situation all around and my parents always ask me for updates on the couple every few months as if they're some reality stars lol

My dad use to work with a girl who was murdered by a guy she went on a date with. She was very savvy, told her parents where she was going etc. But the guy seemed a bit ‘off’ and got really drunk. She helped him back to his hotel and because he was in such a state walked him to his room. He then killed and raped her, wrapped her body in a rug and dumped her in a woods. He was later caught and confessed to it all and that he had planned to do it.

I’m so glad this is anonymous...

2 of my ex boyfriends ended up murdering people. I actually hate myself for being with them, I carry so much guilt inside myself for it 😳 although I must clarify I wasn’t with either of them at the time

I worked at a Housing Association and one of the caretakers murdered a tenant. They caretakers used our office for their breaks so I was alone in a flat with him occasionally.

My Uncle was murdered, dismembered and dumped on the moor a long time ago now.

i knew a family where dad didnt give a fuck and mum just wanted money from benefits and didn’t give a fuck about her kids-they where dirty underfed and unloved
they had 3 kids-one boy then a girl and another boy-I thought then that they where badly behaved I tried to help and tried not to judge
dad got sent down for 7 years for fiddling with a little girl
thankfully ss came in and took the kids into care
mum moved away and found god while turning her back on the kids who by this point where out of control
i lost touch and life moved on
a few years later my daughter came running in to tell me that there was a man walking down our street covered in blood and laughing like ’the devil’
turns out it was the eldest son who had got back in touch with mum and killed her boyfriend in some sort of revenge for her walking away from him
he’d then walked down our street where my daughter saw him
we rang the police and he was arrested within minutes
mum then ran to chat mag to whinge that she’d been a top mother, didn’t know where she’d gone wrong,he was sick and she had no choice but to walk away from him!
i just feel so sorry for him-if he’d had good parents who put him first then he’d be living his best life and a man would still be alive

I don’t know of any but I always wonder if I’ve ever walked past someone who has just killed someone, or if someone has ever thought about killing me? Ive said to my partner a few time’s when driving that would could pass someone or pull up at the traffic lights next to someone who has a dead body in their car and never know! 😱

I’ve just read this back and realised I watch far too many crime documentaries and dramas 🙈

i didn’t go to school with anyone that became a murderer but my ex used to carshare with a bloke who knew Myra Hindley (only to say hello to in the local pub) and one day he was driving through Saddleworth and saw her with a young girl, he pulled over as it was throwing it down and offered them a lift, which Myra refused. Thinking nothing of it he drove on, but when the news broke of her arrest, realised it was ‘probably’ a child she would go on to murder with Ian Brady and he said he often woke in the night because it it - this was all because my ex had asked him why he always looked so tired. Very sad indeed. 😢
